I see this yesterday the meat felt as thugh as anything and on the lablel dosent say what cut is it?

Impossible to be selling Sirloin at this price, at best it will be Topside or Silverside as most of these "Roasting joints" are usually. They normally have an added fat layer so they are not too dry when cooked (That's a good thing not a negative!).
If it looks anything remotely like the picture posted, it will be one of those, Sirloin looks nothing like that; although there is a remote chance it could be a forequarter cut.

Sirloin is currently available as steaks for just under 14 quid a kilo at Morrisons, which is GOOD!
Ive bought this before, lovely in slow cooker!
Cook in oven for at least 3 hours with some stock and vegetables, in a tight sealed pan and it make a tasty meal.
Time to get the bbq out
If this is the vacuum-packed stuff, I'd avoid like the plague.

It doesn't matter what meat it is, they seem to be mostly end cuts with sinews at odd angles!

I'm a great fan of the in-store butchers, but I think the vacuum-packed stuff must be prepared off-site.
