3176854.jpgBritish Gas rewards for British gas customer. British gas is offering 2 days of free electricity in a year. Customer will receive refund equivalent to 1 day of electricity bill every 6 months. I don't know how much you will save but it will depend upon how much is your daily electricity consumption. which I guess will be at-least 2£

Note:- You will not see the deduction unless you opted-in this reward by visiting British gas reward page

Wow two whole free days electricity use in a year that is a whopping 0.5% discount taken against the 365 day year! Does their generosity know no bounds?

Did this yesterday.

Obviously a ploy to dissuade people from switching, which will cost you much more than two days of electricity!
Well if you are already a British gas customer then it's worth for you to check the reward page and activate this reward.
And 4 years on, no-one knows when they will get their free days. Typically they don't tell you, so you can't plan to do 24 hours of washing, drying, drilling, heating etc

It's not 2 free days where you can use what you like. You get a credit on your bill after 6 months equivalent to 2 days usage. In the Ts and Cs I think....

One of the most expensive energy suppliers. Wish they would just reduce their rates.
Rip off energy company supplier....can't believe people are still with them.....SWITCH NOW.

I left them a couple years ago. Saved hundreds. It's a shame really. To be fair, I think they were prevented from being too competitive by lowering their prices so that their competitors had a chance to nab their customers. I gave it a chance for a decade, but they just kept raising their prices even when: wholesale prices went down. Greed much.

I feel sorry for them too.
Profits down to just 1.2 billion pounds in 2017.
Shall we start up a just giving page to help them out?

It's subjective. Blimey when I did energy comparison British gas came cheapest compared to SSE which was my earlier provider. Since, I joined British gas I also saved buying HIVE auto heating device, free hive plug. So I already saved so far 503 (Realistic cost).
I've been doing washing, ironing, drying, electric fan heater on 24/7 for 365 days...
They won't see me off...
Decent but there was a better offer before Christmas. Be careful what you sign up for because this new one isn't available to me now so guessing a better deal wouldn't be later for anyone that signs up to this one ...

Switch to SSE and get £100 cashback. Or stick with BG and get £100 back in 256 years

No thanks
Switched to OVO after years back never had a issue and saved around £20 a month at least since then. British Gas are just too expensive. Need 2 month of free electricity.
