Cheap energy club - British Gas

(Only available for the next ten days)
Cheapest deal at the moment is with British Gas, duel fuel pay by direct debit. (WINNING 1YR FIX: BRITISH GAS Collective Fix February 2017)

AVERAGE;
Gas Average UK usage 12500 kWh TCR 3.12p per kWh = annual cost £390.
Electric Average UK usage 3100 kWh TCR 10.43p per kWh = annual cost £323. £713.00 - £59.41 Per Month

I use quite a bit less than the average, my figures were Gas 9631 kWh Electric 1750 kWh = £524 annual cost - £44 Per month.

Try it for yourself, i can almost guarantee you could be paying less for your gas and electric. Also most tariffs on the cheap energy club offer £30 cashback for switching even if you switch to a tariff with the same supplier, you still get the £30 cashback.

Did this yesterday but haven't decided who to switch to yet. I already with British Gas wasn't giving me your option.

Yeah they won't give you the £30 cashback if you do it directly with them. Through the cheap energy club you can get the £30 cashback and you don't have any phone calls to make. They do the hard work for you
I really think you should put British gas as a deal, through cheapenergyclub

I did the search through them, just don't know who to chose out of the companies that came back. Most I'd not heard of and I only ever been with BG or SP, not really swapped before.

The company at the top is the cheapest and it should be British Gas. If it's not then the cheapest deal for you would be with whoever is at the top, bare in mind that customer service also plays a role in who you should switch to, there's a rating of the company at the bottom of the tariff by the cheap energy club to help.

I know the one at the top is the cheapest but the first few I hadn't even heard of. Definitely was British Gas that was way down the list in fact I think it only saved me £37 with British Gas. I'll do it again maybe a new offer has come out since I did it yesterday. Thanks
first utility the cheapest for me & ive tried on many different sites
Not sure why people are voting cold?I did this recently and was paid cash back 6 weeks. Good to let everyone know about the deal!!!
Yes but you should have registered earlier to get this deal,to late now if not registered.
For electricity, different suppliers will be top in different areas & it also depends on your meter type. This is due to industry pass through charging which is included in your unit rates & standing charge

That's a shame - would have helped a family member.

The eon fix one is the next best from a big company.

Sign them up to the energy club as these come around every few months, I've switched twice with them
my deal with OVO coming to an end in a few weeks. really been a happy customer but went onto uswitch and seems I can save some money. will probably go to first utility.
I switched last week via the energy club. My monthly total is now £59, was £85/90. I've switch from BG to BG fixed til Feb 2017

If you switch by Uswitch you won't get the £30 cashback, do it on the cheap energy club get the same deal + £30 cashback
BG was the cheapest for me on the Cheap Energy Club site! But two other companies have beaten them now!
British gas terrible customer service
Does the comparison include the £30 cashback (ie - I could save £29, but if it includes the cashback then really it is not worth the bother!!!)

Yeah, it might be worth switching to a tariff that's cheaper now and doesn't have exit fees, collect the £30 cashback and switch tariff again when one of these events happens again

If your already signed up to the cheap energy club and you can see the british gas offer then do it because it says you won't pay any exit fees with this offer and get £30 cashback. If you can't see it then still sign up to the cheap energy club because these offers come around now and again, you'll only get them if your already signed up so might as well do it now

I had already signed up a year or so ago on that site, just kept ignoring the emails to be honest. The british gas one is there at the top, saying it would save me £314 per year!!!

It says £60 early exit fees though.......

Fixed?

Most definitely go for it! Save you a huge amount on your bills and get £30 cashback. The £60 exit fees means if you sign upto this deal you can't leave this tariff without paying a fee but you can 49 days before the fixed term is due to end
So, this is coming to an end now + their prices revert to standard which are almost 40% more expensive - anyone found any better deals to switch to?
