No more embarrassing than an Ed Hardy t-shirt.

This is completely wrong. Sometimes you can only revive someone using mouth to mouth.
Thanks, but I'll stick to my own life saving methods I've learned from St. Johns Ambulance.
Like someone is going to complain if you perform a life saving procedure on them.

St johns ambulance is the equivalent to a paramedic, what the salvation army is to SAS

Great that you are willing to save someone's life, but I think you have missed the point of campaign.
For those that have been trained to give chest compressions and mouth-to-mouth, then they should do what they have been trained to do.

Many people have never received any training or received training many years ago- in these people, the instructions in this advert could save someone's life. Most cardiac arrests are caused by heart problems. These patients often have high levels of oxygen in their blood when their heart stops working properly, so mouth-to-mouth is not essential. In a very small sub-set of people (typically those who have drowned or been strangled) is mouth-to-mouth important.

The medical evidence very much supports the delivery of high-quality chest compressions.... these are what save people's lives.
