Don't forget about Topcashback £80
11Mbps........I bet Japan are running scared eh
That is too slow to be practical in a family household IMHO.
11 Is that a mistake and a zero missing ?
11 meg wow
11mb is fine for some people
must be old fashion dail up beep, beep, beep.
The deal is good. Your line rental is generally around £18/19. This is with anytime calls and BB. Good for the older generation as they love a chit chat on the phone. BB is a boon for them. Have some heat!
It's regular ADSL, up to 20 meg.

Internet providers now need to advertise average speed - the speed you get will likely be different. It's a nice idea, but some ISPs won't sell me internet as my long wires mean I would drag their average speed down!
FYI, 11 Mbps (megabits) = 1.375 MBps (megabytes).

Fine for streaming Now TV. Not great for a large family or for large downloads (e.g. gaming downloads)
Heat added for the price but 11 meg
11Mbps is this post 10 years old lol, if you have a small family this would struggle especially if you had gamers, ok if someone is just browsing emails ect but 11Mbps oh dear me, buffing all the way
Heat from me.

Standard broadband is fine for most people. If you want to stream in super high resolution or do lots of gaming then obviously you'll be looking elsewhere, but if all you use the internet for is browsing and streaming netflix etc then why spend more money?

What's the general opinion about Now's bb, this and their fibre as well as their customer service? I'm looking at moving my parents from sky to Now or Plusnet (fibre packages as they're a bit far from the exchange and the suggested speeds are coming in at 2.5-5 mbps which is too low) - what's the general consensus as to which is the better of the two?
Can’t get more than 4mbps. Anyone had any success with NowTV getting speed increased?

What are they like to deal with - is their customer service dept any good?

Who were you with previously and what speeds were you getting?
read reviews, avoid with large pole

I’ll wait what replies you get as I’m looking to do the same!
Good deal. Cheaper than most providers line rental only!
Had this deal for a couple of months now. When topcashback were giving £90. I moved from sky and the service is exactly the same. Had to contact cistomer service on switch over day and turns out there was a slight delay. But the did as promised and called back the next day to see if everything was up and running

I mean, if it's the same hardware that they use with sky, how come it doesn't give me all the options I have with sky? VERY odd

That is strange. Have you tried doing the check on the now tv site with and without your phone number. Don't know if it would make any difference
Not offering anytime calls now but 6 months Now Entertainment at £4.99 a month.

I've been wih Now broadband for the last year and it's been fine. Average of 17Mbps.
Just re-contracted at the new price.
You can use a Sky router if you want as it's all the same company.

Hi was you able to port your number over to now tv from sky ? I placed an order a month or so ago for standard broadband but for some reason they was issuing me a new number. Contacted both sky and now tv but they said it can't be done. Had to cancel in the end as we've had the same number 20+ years.
No I could not keep my number. But I do not use my landlinedont even know what the number was

I used to be a Sky Broadband customer & migrated over to NowTV Broadband which is part of the Sky group & kept my old landline number. I believe you have to sign up under your partners name to keep the old number.

Thats good news thanks, may try that as my sky bill has gone upto £36 now for standard broadband. Could i still use my payment details ?

Can't remember but I don't see any issues unless NowTV wants to do a credit check & must have the paying account holder. Best to go through to final payment stage & use your own payment details.
