We dont get good broadband speed from landline. Looking to ditch and use this as broadband replacement.

Reduced to £25 per month from £30 for 50 GB 4g data.

Says you can put a cap on usage using myvodafone app so no billshock.

Device can connect 5 tablets/PCs at once.

I think this is a good deal and worth sharing. Let me know if there is something better.

A good 3G/4G signal but rubbish broadband? Me too. Am thinking of satellite. In my area substantial discounts are offered if you get under 2mbps and are not on the superfast rollout plan.

Don't go satellite!! It is too inconsistent in bad weather which is 90% of the year in this country.

This is a good solution if you get 4g and your broadband speed is low. But check coverage Vodafone are terrible around where I live, on their checker it says I have patchy 2g, no 3g and no 4g!

50gig ok unless you stream movies..

tempted to try this if Talk Talk don't get there finger out

Can you get cashback on this?

Genuine question....are vodafone so bad that they get autocold votes. They have been no worse than the other mobile companies...what makes them so bad ?

Been on this plan a month and I never ever get a 4G signal no matter where I am it's only ever 3G/3G+ Yet wherever I am with the mifi getting 3G only when I look at my iPhone also on Vodafone it's on 4G just fine???

Vodafone clearly throttle these higher data plans and mis-sell them as 4G when they're not.

I just need the data allowance and not bothered about 4G personally. I wish BT would pull their finger out and put fibre to our cabinet.

Thanks for all your thoughts .. gonna go with this plan in the absence of a better GB per £ per month.

Just a thought for hatton420. Might you have it throttled to 3G on the my vodafone app ?

Is the app any good...think its the one where you can turn wifi off at home from the restaurant ( based on a tv advert)

when you consider the standard cost of line rental on landllines @£18 this is a good deal pity vodaphone has no data signal here other wise i would bin the land line, hopefully EE will follow as i can get their 3g at least.

Nope the app sucks and has nothing to do with the speeds - example in the app if I set to 4G only then I get zero signal no matter where I am even if I get 4G on iPhone fine the mifi just don't work for mifi the only way of getting it to work is to select in the app 4G preferred and then only will the mifi work but it's 3G only and never connects to 4G even when in 4G signal areas confirmed working on iPhone. The problem is Vodafone throttling and mis-selling these high data mifi plans falsely as 4G.

Well we are just cancelling with BT early as their "super fast" fibre is now only giving 10mb after 2 engineer visits. Just awaiting 4G modem this morning to move to EE on the recent 32GB deal, though I suspect I will need more data in the future and expect to get 50mb.

much better to get the 50GB £30 30 day option with £35 upfront - can easy port out, things can change fast with a signal (or house move) let alone tied in to a 2 year contract.

On a further note cancelling Voda or sister Talkmobile is a nightmare even when you have no signal, 2 live chats and 4 people at TM.

Currently on a call to Voda after I tried cancel next day in the sim providing Voda store, many 20 minutes of hold to customer (dis)service, a letter of cancellation (sent next day after sim store collection), then contact via website and asked to call customer relations in India (by the sound of the 'staff'), he's cancelled but not confirming if the £50+ of payments of no service will be returned ?
