Seemed quite a good price, £22.66 for the Broadlink Pro - control all your IR/RF devices with your smartphone and should be Alexa compatible without the need for a bridge anymore.

Is there a broadlink skill for Alexa use in the uk??

Yes
Recently started working with Google home as well.
I have recently setup a projector screen which uses an RF remote on the 315 MHz frequency and I'm looking for a way to integrate this into my smart home setup and as the harmony hub doesn't handle RF I am interested in one of these.

Can these learn commands from an RF remote and then use the learnt commands via Alexa?

Any help would be appreciated.
They can learn from an RF remote, however I am unsure of the frequencies that are supported.

You can also create "scenes" in the IHC companion app for instances where Alexa cannot discover a specific device.
good price, i bought mine at £30
Would this fit through a letterbox? Will it require a signature?

It got released a few weeks ago. Works brilliantly with my Broadlink mini.

It never seems to successfully link my account. The Google Home app just goes straight to the Rooms/Devices tab after I enter my Broadlink account details to authenticate. Anyone else had a problem?

His videos are awesome.
This site has VERY bad reviews. Talk out counterfeits and the like. Although I do want this device, I think I'd rather stick to a reputable site.
There is no free shipping option for me, is this the same for others? Or is there a code for free shipping?

No free shipping but the total price is £22.66 delivered. That's a pretty decent price.

Haven't used mine in a year I think. The app was very very poorly designed and crashed a lot.

I've ordered 4 or 5 items from them and have had no complaints, very fast shipping when compared to gearbest

Should think about doing a positive review to balance out those negatives, as I quickly got put off.
Would this be compatible with an electric garage door that has remote control?

Yes it would. Your garage door would use RF, and so providing the Broadlink is in close enough vicinity it will work.

Yes this should work just fine.
What app do i need for this to work? Searching Broadlink on the play store gives a few different apps such as eControl, Intelligent Home Center,Broadlink hub and another I've seen mentioned around is Broadlink RM plugin...?

Thanks for the replies and for bringing Paul Hibbert to my attention, watched a few of his videos and they are pretty cool.

He did do one a year or so ago saying that the newer Broadlink hubs were no longer able to handle the RF integration as Broadlink had stopped a lot of the functionality but he released a new video a few weeks ago saying that they have finally released an Alexa skill that works perfectly with the RF remotes so looks like all is well.

Just need to decide if I use this company to order now or pay a few quid (well 7) more for one from amazon.

Thaks for the heads up OP
Finally pulled mine out to find out that it has died while in storage. Good old Amazon refunded me.
