Yeah dont imagine ill be building a new kitchen or doing stage 1 house contruction with them but for hanging paintings, speeding up ikea contruction and putting up shelves they should be all good surely?

Are these proper Marita.

Nope they are cheap knockoff Makita
You can't get proper Marita nowadays they fazed them out ooh about a hundred years ago!

what size is the tape?

ok for DIY but nothing great.
I now favour Dewalt's Extreme 2 masonry bits and am just ordering their extreme 2 metal bits, not cheap but money well spent and makes drilling a joy.

The fire brigade put four in for me and all ended up in a bucket of water … The fire brigade put four in for me and all ended up in a bucket of water to shut them up. If you look at the amazon reviews you will see lots of people think they are great just after buying but just as many that say that like mine they started bleeping for batteries (which are not replaceable) after a couple of years and wouldn't shut up. A good price if you want them for 2 years but don't plan on them lasting more than two if my experience is anything to go by. https://www.amazon.co.uk/product-reviews/B004M9KTJM/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_viewpnt_rgt?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1&filterByStar=critical&pageNumber=1

agreed. ok until it suffers the notorious low battery chirping syndrome.

Perfect. We had a small fire about 6/7 years ago and the fire brigade … Perfect. We had a small fire about 6/7 years ago and the fire brigade stuck one of these FireAngel alarms on our roof before they left. If they are good enough for them, they are definitely good enough for us. Optical for outside the kitchen is ideal too

On the roof!? Not much good there unless its to warn you if the weather gets a bit misty. Or did you mean on the ceiling?

I have also previously had some installed by the fire service - when they failed (like others after only 2-3 years) I simply rang the number on the bottom of the alarm, quoting the model number and batch id and they sent me replacement ones within a few days. This however only works if you haven't already binned it due to its incessant noise

To be fair to Brooklyn Trading. They responded with an apology and sent replacement items with 2022 dates on. Just make sure you check the replace date on the Ines you receive.

Got my smoke detectors today, they don't even protect them with bubble wrap, damaged packaging and one keeps bleeping to say battery low even though I swapped batteries. The other one intermittant does not bleep when you press the test button.Has 5 years replace by date.

Did anyone get this and measure the thickness?

I got a sample of it (they sell samples on their eBay store) and it was 5mm! oO

I emailed them to query this and they said, yes that was the correct sample.

I'd be pretty miffed if I ordered £500 of 8mm and they delivered 5mm, to say the least.

Works out a bit cheaper buying through Amazon ( still Brooklyn Trading) as there is a promotion at the moment. It looks as though 20 packs through Amazon would cost £299.64. I think it would be £316 direct from Brooklyn Trading if my quick calculation is correct.

handy if you live near the shop, but otherwise not a good deal

Just buy it from a local shop. Least then if it goes wrong you've got someone to go back to and your not paying £50 delivery!

Standard delivery for 12 packs, £50. oO

Just bought a large 1785mm (H) x 750mm (W) towel radiator for £60 including P&P - bargain! Thanks op - heat added

Would like to add that I've bought three delonghi radiators from Brooklyn Trading.
One was lost by a courier, and one had rust on it because it had been dropped and damaged by the courier.

Brooklyn customer service was 100% fantastic. Not only did they arrange re-delivery for the next day,
but they also sent me one for free (for some reason). They also gave me a nice future discount which I used with them again. So they are really good with their customer service. Wouldn't hesitate to buy from these guys again in the future. Just wish the local courier around my area wasn't as bad as they are. Can't fault the radiator company for that though.

good prices, need 3 new radiators.. champion!

Order 2 radiators but I was charged £19.99 for the delivery alone! Thanks

Thanks op

I called them and they sent a replacement. Just received mine. Guessing it's faulty. Not particularly loud, treble and bass don't seem to make much of a difference. Plus the bluetooth playback distorts like the DSP is broken. Playback through the AUX is OK but nothing worth making me think this is worth keeping. May try a second unit but i'm tempted to get a refund.

I tried ordering some, it said free delivery as I had ordered 6, but when it got to PayPal payment it had added over £47 for delivery to the Isle of Wight. I think I will pass, I wonder if they will deliver to the ferry in Portsmouth free. oO

They are not too bad but make sure any load is evenly distributed as they can and will crack underneath if you put larger items towards the middle of the shelf. We used a load of these when refitting the kitchen and there were some broken shelves towards the end of the refit.

the other half has a few of these in the garage and they seem quite sturdy.
