This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

EDIT: price now gone up at JL, so probably best price so far is from Ryman again(or if you might find it cheaper then post it yourself):

Yesterday I was able to get this printer at £49, the bargain of the century, as explained here:

hotukdeals.com/discussions/mono-laser-printer-brother-hl-1212wxlvb-all-in-box-includes-5-toners-and-a-3-year-manufacturer-warranty-3336202

Since now it is impossible for anyone else to buy this printer at £49 due to the Rayman misprice having been rectified, I suppose that this John Lewis' offer at £89.99 with 2 years warranty shall be the cheapest and best one available, hence my post.

Here you go, 5 available at time of posting, be quick if you need one.

Product code: 89511113

It seems quite cheap with five extra toners. But it's a pity there's no scanner/copier and surprisingly no duplex

Q: Can it automated double sided printing?

A: No you have to do it manually, select double sided then it will print all the odd number sides first then pause and ask you to put the printed pages back in upside down.
5 toners! That would probably see my days out!
I was a Vine tester on this product and its not a great printer. I had a great Brother printer I bought for £50 8 years ago and this is nothing like the quality. Every aspect of the printer is cheap. In fairness at this price, with the guarantee and print cartridges, you can hardly go wrong. Just don't expect too much.
Price now £139.99

Any printer can do that.
The big disadvantage of printing that way is if the printer stops or fails to print one of the pages then the whole print run is out of sequence and useless.
Proper duplex printing prints on one side of the paper then automatically feeds that sheet back into the machine to print the other side. With this method, if the printer stops or fails to print at some point you just need to restart the job from that page.

Of course, if you just print email or single pages, the it doesn't matter. But manufacturers seem to not give you decent wriiten manuals or they're written in such tiny writing on small pieces of paper that you need a magnifying glass to read them. But you can get a .pdf, personally with a 50 page document, I prefer a print. It's not so easy to lose. Saving half the paper is useful.

I hope a few people could buy this printer at £89.99 from JL. Now price has gone up, so if still interested to buy the best current offer might probably be Ryman again, this time for £99.99
