Needed to change my printer as I've upgraded to win10 and no driver for my old laser HP.
This seems to be a good deal, good printer at one of its lower prices.
Can be refilled by buying a refill kit from a UK based website so no wasting money on expensive original cartridges.

Same price on ebay
Good price and same @ Viking, but high colour running costs for some and possibly a few other negatives depending on your use, and if being ana1 is your thing, it's an LED printer, read and decide for yourself:

LED printers are as good as laser, i'm a copier/printer engineer, i should know.
Minolta and Oki have been using LED based for years and you cant argue with the output of either.
The only concern is the cost per colour page, and lack of an ethernet port, but with wireless and cloud printing build in, i can overlook that, its not meant to be a dept printer.
For 90 quid, its seems an ok punt....

Got one of these in my office at work. Works really well, no jams yet and have run 7000 pages through it. Best bit is that toner unlike ink doesn't dry out when not in use. Bought one from Amazon last week for home use. Can't fault it at this price.
There most certainly is a driver for windows 10 and any printer that worked with 7 or 8. (In most cases you can just use the same, win10 is built this way) the problem is that most manufacturers didn't update the drivers on their websites to reflect they can be used on win10.

Regardless of this, this is a good price for a color laser printer.
Just about every time there is a new Windows version people have to buy NEW printers and other items because of the manufacturers and developers cartel run by corporate greed.
Better off sticking with Windows 7.
How many pages does the "starter " cartridges print (200???) before you have to buy a new set most likely costing more the printer?
same price on Viking (£89.99)

watch this

go on their website and decide for yourself the price.
the cartridges need resetting until the colours start fading, and not blindly replaced when the printer says so.
Brother laser printers are incredible, do not buy the official ink refills though, get the cheap ones from ebay, around a quarter of the price, last longer and same quality.
Got this a few months ago from john lewis £99, it's great no problems and 2 years guarantee

HP1320 Laser and Canon inkjet both from early noughties working on Win10, both also worked with Win7 and Win8.1, just use the option letting Windows Update find drivers.

not happy now any more.
you've just ruined my only reason to buy the printer.
on HP site, they push first the utility software and that was saying my 1020 laserjet is not compatible with win10.
now, after reading your post,I've went back and downloaded only the driver for win7 and install it.
Bloody printer is working now.
Should I cancel the order?... neahhhhh
Brother printers are nice. I have the HL-8250cdn which does the auto-duplex and many pages per sheet.

Is the 8250 Wireless? Some sites mention WiFi, others don't.

The model number implies it isn't, they have W for wifi, N for network. D for duplex. C for colour.

I actually have the 1020 laser jet and have it working with Windows 10.

Sorry for breaking your reason for a new printer :), having a working group old spare is always good I guess if you have somewhere to store it. I have a BJC2400 with 2 toners like that
I have one of these it's a great printer for the money. Benefit of cheap clone cartridges, really you can't argue with a WiFi colour laser quality printer for this money.
I've been looking for a Laser printer for a while now but does anyone know if this would print on 300gsm card?

Specification
Printerland has put their price up to £94.80
Amazon direct have it for £90.04 (dispatched 1-4 weeks)

Do John Lewis price-match Viking Direct or Amazon?
I'd like to get a JL 2-year guarantee if they would match the price (currently £99.95 v £89.99)
Probably not (?)
