Looking a label printer and found this one in staples to be the cheapest option. You need to use the code 301539 to get £5 pounds off, and includes free delivery. It's not particulary cheap, but this is the best price I've found on the net, and with the code it's even a bit better, (it's £56.96 in amazon)

There is a smaller option ql-500, but this one has auto cutter.

Could you tell me what model exactly is cheaper?

Not necessarily a Brother, great in the sense of the thermal labels, but just expensive to refill. Have tried all sorts of ways of reusing the rolls but have had no luck!! I suppose it depends how often you are going to use it. I use mine alot just wish I had done a little more research.
Not voted either way.

Don't think this can get hot after the recent dymo deals. Thanks anyway

check out … check out http://www.dymo-label-printers.co.uk/DYMO-labelwriter-printer.htmlHope thaty helps

thanks for the link, but the cheapest one there is £80, are labels that much cheaper?

These are decent, plus roll's are not stupidly expensive?

does anyone have a better deal for a label printer?

dymo 450 is £75 in ASDA cheaper than dymo-label-printers.

I am also having a look at the labels, since everyone is suggesting dymo's are cheaper. But looking at the standard labels, this doesnt seem the case? (I guess if you buy compatible you can find dirt cheap)

Dymo = 260 units > £6.44 ex vat
labelzone.co.uk/dym…415

Brother = 400 units > £7.59 ex vat
labelzone.co.uk/dk-…/p2

am I missing something here? Not going to use it everyday so thinking the brother would be a cheaper option...

Finally went for it at the end, quidco tracked as well (£3.37)

They do, just bought 5 rolls of compatibles of the large address labels for my Dymo printer. Cost me £8 incl postage for them.

Well received my ql-560 and really please with it. Staples by the way, spot on.

continuous roll and automatic cutter did for me. Half the price than the dymo 450, and you can still find cheapish compatibles rolls on ebay.
