Great value, in the market for a smaller colour laser.
It's enormous! The main thing is whether there are copy toners and if they are sufficiently cheap. The manufacturers originals are no doubt stupidly priced. No time to look myself
Great value but too big a Brother!
With Brother.. you will have to change the drum for every 4-5 toner change.

with HP drum is part of the toner but then you pay more for the toner.

I think it uses TN-423BK for the black which start at 19.95 on fleabay.
looks like TN-421
Bit bulky but has web print too
Looks as though there's a high and low capacity set, the cheapest I've found is £89 on Ebay. It's unfortunate that the drum is included. It may be possible to use melt and pour if there isn't some chip on the cartridge. And the drum is still ok.

Years ago, the drums and doctor blades were better made so they could last for 5 or 6 refills,
Sorry to ask what may seem a stupid question, but to claim the cash back do I need to buy direct from brother or can I buy from Amazon for example, or Ebuyer and still claim the cash back?

I have a similar Brother CDW printer which I bought from Ebuyer with cashback 2 or 3 years back. It is big and heavy but has delivered faultless performance over this time and I'm still on the original drum and toner (I'm not a heavy user though).

It was easy to set up and works well on wi fi so you can have it in another room and print from anywhere in the house.

Much better all round than my previous photo quality Epson inkjet which needed the jets to be cleaned every time before printing.

Thanks, but hardly surprising as this is a Laser (no injets to dry up) The only problem is the resolution which isn't usually as good as an inkjet

Err yeah, my Brother printer is a laser too, I was just contrasting with the Epson inkjet.
