Great for my daughters room as for the faux blow up reply.... LOL that was sooooooo funny.
only 50 if you get delivered to store!!!
Great. Ordered one for collection. Heat added.
Should the price really be £50?
Thanks as this deal prompted me to look at the Wilkinson's site for any single bed frames and found a basic metal frame model (Gemini) for just £20 delivered free to my local store and yes I even saved 80p!!! by going via Quidco. Thanks again,

Looks quite basic, but suppose someone on a low budget will find this helpful

Have a few C's heat.

They've got a point though. These are cheap beds and you do get what you pay for, cheap tacky looking material and badly drilled holes / fittings. The slats don't last long either. Heat for the find.

Beware ! We got 2 of these for our sons when they were £40,they fell apart in less than a week. They are very poorly made and are not a rigid frame at all.I would strongly advise against this bed unless you are happy having to buy another in less than a months time.
not good for bedroom athletics im guessing

Sorry, didn't mean to offend. But this is a basic bed, when you think you're going to be using it for 8 hours a day for a couple years it's not something worth skimping on. Health and all that.

Buy this, and you'll start to wonder why you ache so much in the morning.

and how prey tell does a frame have any impact on you aching the next morning?

You mean the matress.

You're right, these beds are so flimsy you would be better practising your javelin throwing/pole vaulting/10 second sprint etc. etc. to another area of your arena.
Your literally touching the floor when lying on these beds, someone with a bad back or someone unfit has no chance of getting up in the mornings without having to climb up the wall!! lol

Why they never put some long legs on these beds is beyond me!!

£70 ain't bad just to claim you broke a bed whilst going at it. I think the cool factor alone is worth the price!

Thanks for the heads up, fortunately it's a very occasional use item for the spare room. If it indeed is only likely to last a month of daily use, that should mean if I only use it once every 2 months it will last about 5 years!!!
I've seen these beds on display, and they were broken then. Poor quality, but then again it is £50!!
There is a very similar one (maybe the exact same) for sale in Pound Stretcher for £70, reduced from £99.

Touché sir :P

Funny how any thread can turn into one of those wars, I was just testing it.
son has one of these beds, they are quite nice looking, but way too low for anyone who suffers from a bad back,it isnt much higher than my air beds..nice for the price though and would do a turn,as long as theres not too much rumpy pumpy goin on in it,having said that,if you do happen to break the slats on it,at least you wont have too far to fall...heat added
voted cold as I have seen this bed in wilkos and its rank
bargin!
Personally I think price should be listed as £70 over the £50.

Definately agree with houtz. bed looks rank, especially the headboard, If I were a women this would be a deal breaker on a 1 night stand lol.
Fantastic bargain well chuffed thank you

The base will certainly impact on the quality of sleep / comfort. It's it just the mattress that matters.
This is actually a good bed for the money, the sprung slats that come with it, combined with a good mattress make it very comfortable. If put together correctly it is sturdy and a very good bed for someone on a limited budget.
Why would you want sprung slats instead of solid wood ? It is the opposite of what is best.

(Get a good mattress as well - spending a decent amount of money on a bed is probably the best thing you could ever do - At least £600 on the mattress.)

There again if you are trying to get on the sick for a bad back then probably having a junk bed will help. (It will be a real bad back though).
Not any more.
