A faux leather tub chair in chocolate (i.e. brown), was £69 now reduced to £59 + £2.95 delivery.

Been after a chair for my bedroom for aaages and this is the best price I've seen for this kind. Good reviews for it so seems like a pretty good deal.

Hope this helps someone!

Might be useful for those that want to relive their student days then?

You should've chucked up in the toilet like a proper civilised Wetherspoons customer

i did what any respectable wetherspoons patron does and spewed into an empty pint glass and left it there to be admired until the lucky bar staff came along and took it away.

Those reviews look positive, thanks OP

£60?

Honestly im sure i have seen these cheaper as i have a faux leather bed and i was looking for the chair to go with it

Check out Argos clearance as im sure they were going for about £40 on there.

What a nightmare! I ordered this chair last Tuesday (in stock) and paid for named delivery for Thursday. I waited in all day from 7am-7pm but there was no delivery. When I contacted them I found it impossible to understand the person at the the call centre (very poor English). I have tried again this morning only for the same problem to occur. I asked to speak to a supervisor/manager but apparently there wasn't one available. I did manage to glean that the chairs were on back order. If that is the case then how could they take my payment and let me pay for named delivery?

Has anyone managed to get through to a UK call centre for Asda Direct? My hearing isn't good at the best of times but the foreign accents are proving impossible for me to decipher.

Thanks for any help anyone can give.

Oh dear, I ordered two of these paying a little bit more for delivery Saturday afternoon, I got an email this morning saying that Yodel will be delivering them. I can confidently expect them to turn up at any time other than than the paid for time then, they'll probably be in my front garden when I come home from work tonight.

Previous experiences with Yodel don't inspire confidence, says a lot about any company's customer service levels when they use this mob to save a few bob.

Surprise, surprise. They cocked up. Tried ringing the number Yodel gave me, you cannot speak to a person, cannot arrange redelivery at a time to suit me-the time I paid for. Yodel have a 100% record of letting me down.

Asda aren't covering themselves in glory here either, I can't get past the "higher than average call volumes" message to organise a refund.

Never has the old saying You Get What You Pay For rung truer than today.

Can I change my hot vote to cold?

It's now mid May and I still have only one of the two chairs I ordered for delivery on April 24th with no prospect of one soon as the bloke I was dealing with is now on holiday.

When only one tuned up I told them I wanted both or none at all, they haven't been able to fulfill that either.

Shoddy, shoddy, shoddy service.

Finally resolved on Tuesday although they did try to take some money on Thursday before putting it back, I'll need to keep an eye on them. I will never knowingly use Yodel in the future, they're the cause of all this.
