This is a real working Land Rover Defender. Ideal for your child's pretend and play. The car features solid rubber, real tread tyres, folding side mirrors and a back tailgate which opens and closes. The bonnet also opens and the steering wheel actually moves the tyres. This Land Rover is robust enough to be taken outside, turn the entire garden into a playroom, don't be restricted by space, only imagination. This car is a 1:16th scale model and is suitable for children aged three and over. This toy meets the exceptional quality and sturdiness expected of Bruder products, which are built to last. Just like the real thing!

I saw these for the first time last year. Just goes to show what quality you can achieve when the efforts put it. German companies really do go the extra mile to strive for quality. Shame we don't in the UK anymore. I think the suspension even works if I remember rightly!

hardly a "real working land rover defender"

Not if the suspension even works, no

Thanks ordered for the kids but sure husband will play with it most!

Definitely a real working one. I use it for commuting, but I am only 5 cm's tall. Obviously it won't fit everyone.

I'm absolutely positive my 15 month old daughter will love playing with this. The things we do as parents eh? Lucky, lucky daughter.

But the depreciation over the first 3 years will be horrendous. Only worth it on a lease deal, maybe with 6k cms per annum and 0.076 pence per cm if you go over.

I lease - but lol'd...

hopefullty I can get one of these payday ☺ shame its not light blue

Don't get it with the sun roof as these have problem's leaking ..... Ordered mine yesterday only a three day waiting list cool

Bought one last week, but it broke down soon after, had to return.

being a wee oirish leprechaun I too have bought one of these. I have found it to be wholly impractical (to be sure). I can only use it on downhill jobs and am not able to actually stop it. I have asked cousin 'conall' to seek out some fairy dust ... after which you'll (to be sure) see and hear me driving along whilst singing 'when oirish eyes are smiling'

Is it pull back and go?

if it's just like the real thing the gearbox will go in 10 minutes.

Will this fall apart like the real thing too?!
