I was literall just about to post this and it cam up on the listing page not to post duplicates. This is an awesome price for Brutal Legend, I'm ordering it now.

Good price will order too. some good reviews out there. anyone got it and can comment?

I tried the demo and thought the game was pretty good, but nothing special. It's the style, script and characters that make this game special. The demo had me laughing more than many other supposedly "funny" games.

I was going to buy this at release, but read at ]IGN.com that the multiplayer aspects were probably not for me.

PS. Downloadable content is coming...

Free Brutal Legend DLC detailed
Tuesday 27-Oct-2009 2:22 PM
Tears of the Hextadon pack free on PS3

New downloadable multiplayer maps are on their way to Brutal Legend in November, EA has confirmed.

The first slice of DLC for Brutal Legends, entitled Tears of the Hextadon, will bring two new multiplayer maps to the game when it goes live on Xbox Live on November 3 and PSN on November 5.

The good news for PS3 fans is that the pack will be downloadable for free until November 19, after which it'll cost £3.99. On Xbox it'll cost 400 MS points (around £3.40) from day one.

As EA explains: "In the first map, Circle of Tears, vile waters have carved a rough-hewn circular battlefield into a forsaken land that players must circumvent to destroy their opponent.

"In the second map, Death's Fjord, players find themselves on an icy mountain pass with a dense cluster of fans that lie below, waiting to be harvested by those brave enough to capture them without cover from enemy attack. All players who download the new map pack will receive a free axe, the Blade of Ormagöden."

BFN,

i have it. it gets quite boring really quickly. The RTS sections that dominate th emain story are not very good. Im trading mine in tday. Great soundtrack though

I would say my review for the game would be a great start just like the demo but then it hits a "Marmite" stage which some people like some hate which is the RTS element if you can bare that its a fnatastic game

Hot price, ordered one.

Paid £1.99 for the UKMail delivery.

Gonna hang on for a cheaper price, but hot.

Decapetatiooooooon!

Broke my own rule and got this on release from Shopto for £35 just last week

Great game, but seriously, HOW quickly do games drop in price these days??!! I shall at least try to be more patient in future.

Personally I thought it was fantastic and I played the hell out of it for a week. One of the most enjoyable games I've had in ages. RTS isn't my thing though so the multiplayer wasn't for me but I managed to trade it in Gamestation on Saturday for £31 which I thought was good VFM (price match + £1 to CEX trade-in price). Might not be for everyone but I haven't really got a bad thing to say about it - even better if you can get the Metal references and humour.

well worth the money, this is an awesome game

Heat from me, but gonna try and do what other people have said and wait for this to drop more.

Excited by the previews, slightly put off by the reviews and quickly losing interest in buying this.
By the time it's £14.99 I doubt I'll be bothered about getting it any more.

I'm coming to this conclusion too. Shame, really, as the playable demo was a great introduction & an incentive to buy... but I guess that is what it was intended to do.

By the time it drops sub-£20 (perhaps in a £17.99 Play.com promotion in December) I'll probably not be bothered either.

Also, we do not seem to have found one person who has a good thing to say about the multiplayer aspects yet!

Maybe if we don't buy from ShopTo.net the price will fall lower very quickly.

Power to the people!
