I have been looking around for a new fibre broadband deal (since TalkTalk have upped their prices and won't offer me any incentive to stay) and suddenly this one came up. BT Sport is a nice bonus for me.

I can't find a cheaper fibre broadband deal elsewhere.

The deal:
£10 38mb Unlimited Fibre Broadband - on only a 12 month contract.
BT sport
Free Weekend Calls
5gb BT Cloud storage
£100 Sainsbury's voucher (must claim)

The maths:
£10 x 12 month (half price offer) £120
£159.84 line rental saver (if you sign up before 1st December when BT up their line rental charges)
£30 activation
£6.95 delivery charge for Homehub
£316.79

Less
£100 Sainsbury's voucher (factoring in as cash)
=£18.06 per month
&
£200 quidco (not guaranteed, but should be ok)
divided by 12 months
= £1.40 per month

--
26-Nov 21:00 - TCB now at £157.50. Leaves monthly cost £4.94

I saw this in the metro paper and thought it was a good deal, especially with the fibre broadband 12m contract. heat.

Indeed, 12 month contract is certainly non-standard. Usually an 18 month minimum.
I think John Lewis do it as well but with a 100GB PM cap which is nuts.

Yeah a 12 month contract is rare on a fibre broadband contract.

For anyone wondering whether Fibre is worth it, then it is my opinion. Unlike most broadband you're more likely to get the maximum speed advertised rather than a theoretical maximum...and it's seemed more reliable that standard broadband for me.

have some heat..

Plus £30 activation fee?

Well it doesn't though does it because you have to sit hoping that topcashback pays out which it might not only thing guaranteed is the voucher speed may also be an issue for some and though I never thought I would ever say this, it's with BT who are terrible at the moment.

Anyone know if this is available to existing customers upgrading to
infinity?

I've genuinely never had a problem with topcashback/quidco so long as you use it properly (clear cookies etc). It's already tracked, so I'll keep you updated.

Knowing BT I can't see it but I might give it a try myself tomorrow on the online chat.

Our bills are about 50 quid a month for 76mb fibre, HD sports and phone line.

Add 80 quid for sky and something has to change

Have been pleased with Infinity in the past and looking to leave Sky for this deal. Thanks OP

Most of the time just £1-£2 off per month but last year I got mine down from £13 to £6 per month when I said I was leaving. Lost it 3 months later after I moved house though

how much if you don't want to pay full line rental upfront?

line rental £16.99/month from Jan 1st. offer not available to existing customers

Was about to post this myself. Had just signed up to it. Great deal and gives BT sport on apps (chromecast puts it on the tv).

Go elsewhere, signed up for Infinity 5months ago and its tripe, its unfortunate that we have another 13 months to go or we would ditch them stright away. Check out their facebook page and have a look at all the unhappy punters before you sign up!

How so? I've signed up with plus net but within my cooling off period so may cancel and go for this. London based, so would imagine speeds should be ok...

Signed up for this yesterday for my new house £90 quid co tracked straight away. I move into new house tomorrow and phone and broadband will be on the following Thursday so I'm well pleased

Its 152MB compared to 38MB which is a massive difference if you share internet in a house, Trust me i went from 38mb to 152mb and now we can all share and stream watch video's with and super fast speeds and it doesn't affect anyone, Its a huge step up!

Thanks OP, fantastic offer, there's no Virgin cable where I live and I've been surviving on 3Mb BB. Time to upgrade

I doubt you are getting 152MB download speed.

IT for ten years and you need it explaining. Seriously?

Considering you are Obviously the Smart Guy, I would of thought you knew Virgin have a 152Mb Fibre Package, In fact i am averaging a speed of around 160 (BITS PER SECOND)

I can post a speed test now if that helps you to understand

Yes they have a 152Mb package, however they don't have a 152MB package.

Hence bits and bytes.
