Just left this god awful company, couldn't fix my fibre line for over a year, ombudsman ruled in my favour but wasted so much of my time over the past year.

Back to Sky, should have never left them in the first place over a few quid, hard lesson learnt.

Possibly not, that looks like it may have a cut off date

"I got BT Infinity 1 quite recently. How do I get the speed upgrade? If you ordered a 52Mb BT Infinity package before 28 September 2017, we'll uplift your speed if your line can support it."

Don’t forget quidco.

Will this be through the BT website rather than a third party site? Will you be able to go through quidco and get the £120 gift card?

Is the other current deal that expires at midnight not better ?

Decent deal, hot.

Yes same here. Watching BT infinity deals with interest. Didn't bite on the last offer so won't be going for this, happy to wait for something better.

Still waiting on my reward card and cashback from a previous deal.

You need to persist. They try to avoid it if you don't. I had to send a few mails to get the ball rolling.

Excellent Deal, Voted hot,
Now I got that out of the way, I have just left BT at the end of contract as they couldn't offer me any deals to stay and I have received letters and emails to say I owe them £65 for leaving early! My fibre switches on 1st of Nov and contract and contract finishes on the 11th of Nov, so they are charging me £65 for leaving 11 days early!

Chase them if it's the master card. They hope you forget. I rang them once and they told me it was "on it's way" and weeks later, nothing... So I rang them again and they told me it was funny that I hadn't received it and sent "another" this time I got email confirmation of despatch etc and it arrived within a few days.

They have recently upgraded my broadband for free from ~52 to ~76 which in real world usage means I've gone from downloading at 6.5Mb/s to 9.5Mb/s when using Steam which is pretty awesome.

Edit: we also managed to get £100 cashback via quidco at the time too. Not sure if that's still going?

Nice deal. Got mine about 6 months ago. Worked with topcashback (so i'd assume nothing has changed and you'll still get cashback). The reward card takes ages. I got an email saying it was on it's way but take no notice of it as the smallprint i think says you'll get within 30 days and you get it on day 29.

Pretty sure at the time i got around £100 cashback and £200 reward card but no free activation.

The reward card is a con. Nearly four months, numerous emails, twitter, fake 'dispatched' emails and still waiting. The BT router won't talk to my tv (something about dns failure), and constant major speed drops. Wish I'd never bothered

I've just got off the phone with them 5 minutes ago trying to haggle for a new deal as I get good speeds and for me at least it's been 99.99% reliable this year. Guy on the phone had no sales technique though, was clearly reading from a script so binned him off will try again in a few days.

I asked about that issue of yours specifically and whether you need to send equipment back and he said the rule is if you cancel within 30 days of your end date there is no leaving fee and you can keep/recycle the equipment.

EDIT: For the disgruntled waiting on their cashback/giftcards I got both of mine. I claimed the gift card following the instructions BT sent and it came a couple of weeks after the router arrived/internet was switched on from what I remember and the cashback (from TCB, not Quidco) came in February (order with BT started November). Think I messaged TCB once after the 8 week wait period to chase but not sure it had any effect.

Good offer, very similar to one we took up a year ago. Really wish we hadn't tho. Awful company to deal with. Totally inept. Took 3 months to change to them, as they kept insisting we were a new build (house is about 100 years old) and had no phone line (despite the fact they kept ringing us on it!). When we finally got the service it lasted a month before speeds dropped to dial up levels. They wouldn't accept there was an issue. Eventually nearly two months on they sent an engineer who accepted there was an issue. A broken connector on the line was letting in water fixed in half an hour! Still waiting for compensation for the two months failed service due to their incompetence!

Tempting, but I'm also tempted by Now TV combo package which is £29.99 for 12 months and you get Now TV Entertainment pack. Anybody have any experience of Now TV fibre?

I pay £24 a month for infinity 1

Trying to order this, after confirmation screen the price jumps from 31.99 to 34.99, anyone else?

As others previously said the reward card may take a lifetime to arrive, it took mine 3 months, loads of emails and a couple of phone calls. The purchase was tracked for £90 via quidco but not confirmed yet.

Service-wise no probs whatsoever. I am quite impressed by the router too, 4 devices hooked up all the time and another 6-7 connected wirelessly and it doesn't sweat.

Might be worth waiting for Black Friday if you can. BT has had some great offers in the past. Though their customer services are abysmal if you need to contact them.

Decent deal. Don't forget BT will offer to refund cancellation charges (if they apply) up to £100 from your old provider. You need to claim it though.

As counter argument, it's not.

Ordered end of September, by end of October I have my card. Ignore Twitter, they are useless. Use the reward card contract form instead.

wish they would do that if your old provider was BT

Is anyone else getting a different price if they go via - Topcashback?

The link they provide offers the Infinity plus phone package at £34.99 rather than at £31.99.

Meaning £419.88 rather than £383.88 - an extra £36 annual.

But if it does qualifies for cash back it would add £80 on top of the reward card - assuming this doesn't cancel the £120 reward card.

Uswitch are offering this deal at the £31.99 & Reward card plus M&S card of £40.

The £65 charge is for the Smart Hub, you must complete the whole minimum term or they charge you the value of the router, you would of been charge £65 even if you had left 1 day early.

I signed up for Plusnet deal, phoned BT and they have offered Infinity 1 for £26.99 fixed price for 2 years. Not as cheap as swapping about every year but a decent deal with hopefully no hassle for a good while.

I assume u paid your last month of contract so u didn't leave early. It is computer generated. If you call and explain they will waive.

I ordered 2 days after the 28th and no uplift yet.

The reward card is an utter scam. Got a "dispatched" notification over a month ago and it still hasn't come, despite chasing. They'll never pay up

Not a bad offer, decent BT deals seem to be quite frequent, best I saw was back in May when I got unlimited infinity fibre &TV (speed has since been upgraded) for £60 setup+ 28.99pm with a £200 reward card and £160 Quidco. Both paid out with no issues. I appreciate that time machines hard to come by, but does illustrate that it may not be worth rushing to snap this one up as they do sometimes run even better deals.

Personally I'm happy with BT.. signed up early this year, received cashback (quidco) and reward card. They recently upgraded my package I'm now on infinity 2 unlimited downloads for £25.99 per month. Including line rental

That's because that email is complete BS. The people that send the card are a different company and they wait until the last minute to send.

Saw this deal this morning on Go Compare ( broadband ) just like to say i think it is already live ) .And it also says deal available until 2 / 11 /17. I left BT early last year due to several things not going right there end,but to be fair the broadband was good and so was the cash back and Sainsburys voucher redemption side. And that was with infinity 1. they tried to charge me but i had mentioned i didnt mind being without BB ( so wasnt leaving for a rival ) and after listening to my recorded chat stating this they dropped the leaving charge which would of been over £300 .In my 6 or more months i was with them i noted FROM THE BEGINnING everything that wasnt right ( cancelling my connection start date due to trouble with local exchange box,not keeping me informed and finding out 4 days later i HAD gone live on the original date.Saying from day 1 i wanted to pay upfront and never getting the chance, the list goes on.Include on your notes dates time and who you spoke to and about what. This will help you no end it did me.My sky disconnects in 3 days so have been looking and this is not a bad deal,i wouldnt not go back to BT .But theres better deals coming i beleive as its christmas on the near horizon.

Ive never had an issue with getting double cashback.

Just signed up for my parents
£35.99pm - £120 card - £75 quidco.

Should come in at approx £23pm

Thank you so much for asking on my behalf, unfortunately the information you have been given is incorrect as I have just rang to enquire about the charge and as per pabosotf123, they will charge £65 for the router even if you leave 1 day early, so for all the people taking this deal (I did last year), you have to plan your exit from BT carefully, for me I will take this charge as a slap on the chin, and treat it as a lesson not to get near BT in the future, no matter how sweet the deal is. Will stick to the likes of sky which are more honest when it comes to these matters (I can't believe I am saying this!).

Does the same for me, been trying to order since Wednesday and keeps jumping up and down and sometimes shows a £20 John Lewis voucher! Would rather pay a cheaper price than cashback though! I'm looking at this plus £20 month for BT TV max with sports as I want sport in 4k, does anyone have BT tv? How does it compare to ease of use of sky?
