Guess this means recontract at full price if you currently have a decent deal? Probably better to keep looking for a new provider.

my contract was up last month, i was on a deal of £5 a month* and it would have gone upto over £20, so i phoned them up and told them i was thinking of leaving so they offered me another 12 months at £5pm

*BB only, non fibre, 8mb DL / 1mb UL, unlimited,
i pay yearly for line rental seperatley.

Don't accept it, cancel your deal, tell them on live chat that you want a better deal or your leaving, they will move the earth for you. I literally had a new deal this morning by this method, you will save to £25 time and time again...

Often the cashback deals make it better to move to another provider as you get the low price plus the cashback. Always look at the cost per month for the term of the contract, including all charges.

I'm thinking about canceling with them, what kind of deal should I be looking at with them,12 months with a reduction?(When should I fold, say they offer a 3 month discount for example.)

Last few times I've changed I always got my perks. £100 Sainsbury's Gift Cart with BT, at end of contract moved to TalkTalk and got £100 Love2Shop vouchers, Cancelled TalkTalk early due to increasing prices moved to BT and got £125 prepaid mastercard from BT with £50 cashback cheque (had to chase up the cheque but still got it eventually).

This is always the first place I look when coming to the end of a contract moneysavingexpert.com/pho…and

The fibre "deal" BT offered me under this con was for 50% more than I am paying at the moment. Looks like it will be back to Sky for me come November, particularly as TCB/BT decided that I didn't qualify for cashback. Right load of spherical objects their rejection as I had every piece of paper to prove the validity of my claim - and I am definitely not the only one.

I just wish these folks would make their retention deals worthwhile. Mind you they all brag about their new signings and that's why there are they offer such cool deals to "new" subscribers. Scrap their bragging rights and I suspect there would be no deals at all as there would be no benefits for the suppliers.

As usual, we get screwed either way.

Dont think I'll bother.....They offered me the re-contract deal at 5 pounds/month more than i;m paying now

Literally this morning i was given a deal by retentions (you can ask for them on live chat and they will call you) and they gave me Infinity 1 55mb fibre, weekend calls, the full tv package with bt sport in 4k, for £37.99 per month for 12 months, 12 month contract

Quidco did not track for me so avoid quidco by all means..topcashback in my experience is the best in tracking a cashback claim...

all ...just to advise. I did recontract with BT. I received voucher today. I then called to cancel BT sports and have subsequently gained a £40 per month saving.
