BT Cloud storage FREE for all BT Broadband customers

BT Cloud storage FREE for all BT Broadband customers

Found 1st Feb 2013
Will be of use to people on the high end BT broadband packages, I'm not sure how much it costs to add the extra capacity as you have to sign into an account to activate/setup.

All BT Broadband customers get free BT Cloud. How much storage you get is dependent on what package you choose/have:

2GB Cloud storage =
Broadband, Unlimited Broadband, BT Infinity 1, Unlimited BT Infinity 1

50GB Cloud storage =
Unlimited Broadband extra, Unlimited BT Infinity 2

Or you can choose to upgrade your BT Cloud storage allowance to 50GB, 100GB, 250GB or 500GB when you order BT Broadband or once you're up and running.

BT doesn't support activities which infringe the copyrights of the holder.

You need to activate the service yourself. This service will be stopped and your back-up files deleted if you don't use it for 90 days. Terms apply. See full terms and conditions for more details.

Couldn't get there from the provided link so logged into BT account then Services then Broadband and 'Manage your broadband services' > 'Set up BT Cloud'
Seems I'm only entitled to 2gb but if a renew my contract I get 50gb. Not going anywhere so might as well lol.
Cloud has to be the future for all storage.
Great that it is something but too many disadvantages
90 day limitation and files also get deleted when you eventually leave BT ---Dropbox is better, so is BOX, ubuntu and mega
Thanks OP 50GB free storage, can't complain.
How much is the 500Gb upgrade? Can't find anything at that link. Just wondering if it's cheaper than Livedrive.
Does sky have a cloud ?

How much is the 500Gb upgrade?
Woah, through Livedrive I get unlimited storage and a sync app for the PC and phone/tablet apps for £20 a year - and BT think they can tempt me at £20 a MONTH!? Ha.
