The standard price for the broadband is £31.99 through bt we site however they are currently offering a £100 prepaid Mastercard too. Couple this with £70 cashback through tcb and it's effectively £22.54 if splitting the cost over 18 months.

Not bad in my opinion?

You can't count cashback in deals on here, sorry.
Also BT customer service is not great
Virgin media currently has £80 cashback if thats available in your area. Efective price £23.34 over 12 months on their player bundle.

looked at a bt deal and the way they show the prices is designed to utterly confuse you... had to spend 20mins with the chat live person to get a confirmation of the average price over 18 months.

they're very keen on 12 month discount and one-off payments and then choose to forget to show you what those costs are... you're shown a monthly payment of 'only 6.60' or somesuch.

couldn't be more deliberatly misdirected if internet was offered by david blaine...

Were fine with me while with them, and use in excess of 300gb, so hardly lite. But left purely on their price increases.

I respectfully disagree and as a somewhat seasoned internet user, I wouldn't touch their broadband with a bargepole.

To each their own though.

We moved house and had to switch to BT from Virgin but haven't really noticed a difference speedwise. I was a bit worried the price was going up in the new year but they offered the £29.99 for Infinity2 76mb... which was nice.

But that forces you to have tv services installed.
