BT Infinity broadband packages currently have a £100 Sainsbury's voucher for new customers (this is double the usual incentive). Also enjoy free BT sport.

Plus if you go through Quidco you can get up to £120 cashback (Broadband + calls + BT TV - new customers). if you just want broadband then you can still get £50 cashback.

Plus get 3 months reduced price for the first 3 monts on the unlimited BT infinity packages 1 & 2.

Having took out BT Infinity broadband just 3 months ago on a £50 Sainsbury's voucher and £10 cashback, I would have been at least £100 better off on this offer!

It's free if you wish to watch it on your computer.

you can also watch it on sky

I have infinity and no bt tv package
Rang bt and asked about bt sports
Its free through my sky tv package
They just take your details and job done
We speed test around 71mb
Happy days

Currently on Sky Fibre Pro at £30pm, thinking of going for this, have heard they are much better of late. Any throttling though?

I haven't noticed any throttling on Infinity. My downloads always seem to be around the 70mbps mark, its absolutely awesome.

No complaints from me so far, decent speeds

Never had any speed issues
Or connections dropping
Quite a bit of downloading as well
I dont mind paying a bit more than other providers
For a service im happy with
No long ques to speak to someone
Last two times i called were to upgrade to infinity then to add bt sports
Oh and you dont get a half whit moron on the end of the phone either

We are on the 100mg I think connection now and its great. No problems at all for nearly a year of service. To be honest I wouldnt expect it to go down as its an old SDSL products they used to sell that was always on connection used for companies wanting to host on servers etc.

BT don't throttle on Infinity now.

Min 18 months contract?

Been with BT infinity 2 for a couple of months.....still waiting for my Sainsburys voucher and when I call they have no idea what I am talking about. Service is grand.....when it works. It drops on a regular basis then you get the wonderfully helpful overseas tech dept. Reset everything then wait then do some diagnostics then unplug everything then reset everything then hope it all works again.

They are getting a rather long list of drops and times I've spent talking to their staff as well as a bill for that time from me soon lol.

Very tempted by this, Im on Virgin 20MB, will I notice a difference?

edit, scratch that, im not in an infinity area yet :-(

On the unlimited Bt infinity packages is 18 months.

On the fibre optic bt infinity 1 (40gb usage limit) is a shorter 12 months contract. Only suitable if you don't intend to use heavily or you will end up paying additional data charges.

BT removed all throttling and line management from their Infinity packages recently

any chance you could make a sentence?

Now all I need is infinity in my area. Would help if they don't keep moving the date forward by 6 months, 2 weeks prior from when they say it was due in the first place. .

I got infinity package almost 2 weeks ago, any idea if the sainsburys voucher offer was on then?

If you went through the Bt website 2 weeks ago it would have been a £25 or £50 sainsburys voucher. The £100 offer is more recent. Thanks

Clues in the title "Infinity" as that's how long you'll wait for it, was promised it in 3 months nearly 2.5 years ago and still waiting, the availability date keeps slipping by 3 months every time I get near the available to order date.

I've even had letters & emails from them saying available to order, but as soon as I try and order it's not available, I've also escalated it numerous times only to be told it's BT Openreachs fault and not within their control.

I've also had every excuse under the sun, exchange isn't enabled, it is and has been for just under 3 years, I live in the country and they can't get fibre to me, I don't I live in a residential area, and alos that the local council won't give them planning permission.

So if your waiting for it to be enabled in your area, personally I wouldn't hold your breath.

Exactly, explain to me the business sense of spending a fortune upgrading exchanges in the sticks for a fraction of the customers and zero profit.

Compared to major citys and heavily populated areas first? .... BT is a private company, its simply common sense .... Whens the last time you saw Virgin spend any real money on rolling out new infrastructure? .. There still sitting on original telewest infra.

BT Infinity is the way foward!

My sister used to complain for months about her sky bb,switched to BT infinity 4 months ago & havnt heard a peep out of her since :-)

Infinitys the best thing BT's done in years

TCB also do cashback deal but does anyone know for sure what it amounts to?
For infinity broadband only (i.e no BT TV) it looks a bit like you also get a £100 M&S voucher with the Sainsbury voucher and cash. Its only £5 instead of £50 cash, but if you also get both £100 vouchers it could make it a better deal. Or is it an error?

revzman

It's free if you wish to watch it on your computer.

Or you can get it through your Sky box even if you no longer have a subscription like me.

We use BT landline and 02 broadband. Would go for this but concerned about the fact it states 'new customers only' (vouchers and Quidco) what do guys reckon, would we still receive the incentives?

Seems a good deal to me. Heat added.

Are you talking about Infinity? If so, what a load of rubbish, I don't know who fed you that but it's completely incorrect. SDSL is certainly not an "old" product that "used" to be sold to businesses, it's very much a core current product in the business sector. Infinity bandwidth is shared amongst up/downstream so is not like SDSL at all.

Currently with sky fibre but gonna switch to bt in september unless sky offer some decent deals.

Thats the skoda line this is the ferari line , got this deal but only £50 voucher trying to get the other £50 as technically I haven't received it yet.

BT is ok when everything is working fine but just pray you don't have any problems because that's when the Indian call centres come in and nothing actually gets corrected, you need the patience of a saint. I dumped them and switched to cable and never once regretted it tbh.

I can't see the BT package that comes with the TV? I'm thinking of binning Virgin Media off due to connection issues over the past month which they won't resolve. Our current plan is 100MB, XL TV and XL phone paying £60p/m. We don't really make use of the 200+ channels which this package provides anyway!
