Hi,
Just noticed this on BT website.

Here is the deal : BT INFINITY 1 UNLIMITED 38MB upload for £10 / month for 3 months and then £23 / month for remainder of 18 months.

You get £125 Sainsbury voucher, free bt wifi, sports etc. Dont forget to go via Quidco!

Here is the cost breakdown:
Total cost paid to BT = £30 + £345 = £375.
Sainsbury Voucher = £125
Quidco Cashback = £80

Total Paid = £375 - £125 - £80 = £170
Total effectve per month = £170 / 18 = £9.45

Hi aca03mk - i've just had to edit the title slightly to include the line rental and the price you'd have to pay as we don't allow cashback or gift card balances to be used for a final price paid.

Sky is free for 6 months 20 per month after same speed package on fibre, line rental is cheaper and call packages are cheaper than bt, this deal cold

Don't know anyone who's ever received their Voucher and as prices are due to rise....again....to £16.99 for Line Rental....then not priced correctly.

£10 x 3 + £23 x 15 + £15.99 x 18 = £662.82

I am sorry to say but I got my vouchers last time from BT. If you didnt, then call them and they will honour it.Just applied again this morning for this.

As for line rental - pay a year in advance 159.84 and it works close to £12 per month and you get free weekend calling and caller id.

Yes but the way you write in topic - it seems that just for broadband it is £662 mate. Might be worth adding including line rental and also worth using £159.84 as yearly cost if paid in advance - as after all we are all trying to make it cheapest possible.

Ps : I dont work for BT or Quidco or anyone else before anyone blames!

Aweful deal. BRRRRR!

Line rental will not be £15.99 x 18 as it will be £16.99 from 1st December and with the 'Football Tax' no doubt will rise again....

BT is to impose a price increase of over 6% on its home phone and … BT is to impose a price increase of over 6% on its home phone and broadband customers in a move that has already been dubbed a "football tax".The company, which has 7.3 million home phone and broadband customers, said that from 1 December the cost of a BT landline – mandatory for phone and high-speed internet – will rise by £1 to £16.99. At the same time the cost of its broadband service will also rise above inflation by up to 6.49%

I got this deal in sept but with normal broadband, I got £140 via quidco and my £150 sainsbury's gift card. Happy days!

I've just switched to TalkTalk from Sky as they weren't offering me anything. Here's what I got....

TalkTalk Fibre (Up to 38Mb) & Anytime Calls (18 months)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Supposedly no Fair use Policy or Traffic Management.

Line Rental Saver + 6 months normal rate (18 months) = £267.90 (equivalent to £14.88/month)
Anytime Calls for 18 months = £90 (£5/month)
Fibre Broadband for 18 months = £141 (equivalent to £7.83/month)
New Line Activation & Fibre Installation = Free
Router P&P = £5

Total = £419.90 (inc. £84 TopCashback) (equivalent to £23.33/month)

That £84 TopCashback rate will expire tomorrow but even without it, it's still cheaper than BT. With the TCB that deal is cheaper by £176.88, although I imagine most won't need a new line so it would be £146.88 cheaper than BT:

BT Infinity (Up to 38Mb) & Anytime Calls (18 months)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
No P2P throttling or traffic management.

Line Rental Saver + 6 months normal rate (18 months) = £261.78 (equivalent to £14.54/month)
Anytime Calls for 18 months = £135 (£7.50/month)
Fibre Broadband for 18 months = £375 (equivalent to £20.83/month)
Line Activation = £30

Total = £596.78 (inc. £80 Quidco & £125 Sainsburys Gift Card) (equivalent to £33.15/month)

The equivalent monthly prices will be a little off as I've rounded up/down to the nearest penny.

I got my voucher no problem but will leave BT as soon as the contracts up, appalling speeds and appalling customer service. We have 78 meg and regularly get less than 40, BT vision so bad we've gone back to sky

I had my vouchers too and it's too good for price but service really is bad

I want to go back to O2 but they are part of sky and I don't like them either. Any good FTTC around?
