Wow, I just sold 3 of these on EBAY for more than that!
Looking to buy a mesh system for my house. Is this better or the Tenda versions that always pop up on here? Looking to spend under £100. Thanks
Heat From Me great Deal

Tenda ones are cheaper but I have had problems with dropouts on wifi from the 2nd and 3rd cubes on Tenda, tried everything.
So will give these a go :-)

This an excellent deal. If you are looking for something like this then this is a must at this price. Works out just under £30 per disc. Im looking for a single for my house which can be a pain to find.
Ordered, thanks OP
£5 delivery puts me off Good deal op
Great price for a really good mesh system. Don’t let the BT branding put you off, this is a really well featured mesh network with a clean and simple interface that works surprisingly well for its price point.
.
Currently I have a few standard white one set up. Can I get the minis ones as add-on to cover more area?
just paid £130 for these, thank f*** ive not opened the box.

if anyone is looking btw ive just been offered complete wifi from BT for only an additional £5 per month which is cheap.
Won't be of any use when the wifi is awful from BT anyway
I bought a dual set a while ago but haven't go round to setting it up.

The wifi downstairs is excellent (with sky so it acts as a mesh) but non existant in parts of upstairs and loft

As I have hundreds of devices already connected to existing wifi network can these just act as a repeater?

i bought the deco system by t link a month ago its fantastic highly recommended
Just a heads up, it won't resolve any connection issues between a main Sky Q box and a Sky mini as they can't connect to anything that isn't sky hardware, however apparently you can connect the Sky Q and Mini into the ethernet ports on these, if your placement allows. If doing that then remember to turn off Wifi on both Sky boxes via the Engineer menu.

Not sure if you mean the broadband speed from BT is awful or that BTs normal access points are not good. If you have poor WiFi these mesh units will really help. I have 3 tenda units in a house with thick walls and get a perfect WiFi connection all over. The AP built into the modem can only provide to one room.

Note, you don't need BT broadband to use these, they will even work with virgin media.
Out of stock.

no where near as good but you get what you pay for as the google ones are far more expensive, these are great for the money even if the mobile app can be a bit iffy (last big update fixed a fair few things tho)

Does anybody know if you can use these with the black BT Discs?

Unfortunately not, each BT system is separate. The advantage of the black discs is that you don't need to attach the first disc to the router (aside from initial pairing), therefore 1 black disc is essentially doing the job of two white ones. Try Ebay - plenty of people selling black discs on there, presumably from gaining extra's that they don't really need via the BT Complete Wifi guarantee. Picked up a disc for £30 odd a couple of weeks ago. Doubt most normal houses need more than 1 or 2.

The range is fine on the hub, it's the constant dropouts that no matter how many hubs they send it never gets fixed

These devices are superb and will certainly improve the WiFi signal for anyone who uses them. You use these to replace the WiFi network that normally comes from your router. You set these up and then disable your router's WiFi.
bought these a while back and never looked back sorted my poor internet with the flick of a switch (socket)

I've heard of this, wouldn't that just be bridging them by just using an ethernet wire?
Just to note that these are the mini version, not the full-blown version. May well serve a purpose but just a heads up.

Yes and no, you can set them to bridge or it can set up it's own network. But either way one of them needs to be connected to your ISP router via ethernet, and the rest connect to each other via a mesh wifi

I have three of the full size bt ones and they seem fine and reliable as long as you leave them alone to do their thing. But disappointed in the WiFi range but perhaps my expectations are unrealistic.
