Can you connect 2 in 2 different houses?
Guessing these are just WiFi boosters so they don’t have any ‘router’ element built in?

Unfortunately not, you have to plug into your router via ethernet cable. I also disabled the wifi on my router

Nope basic repeaters that echo WiFi, I didn't have much success so I returned them and bought proper wired Access Points, night and day difference however 3 times the cost

You could consider the TP-Link M5 or M4 mesh network devices, they can be setup as access points or one router + access points.

I very much do recommend Ubiquiti if you can afford them, but for a budget friendly solution then the devices above are good as well.

But these don’t do anything special to hand your device off as you move between rooms right
Are these actually any better than the Nova solutions? For the price this is probably worth it for the support alone, but I see a lot of people complaining about the Nova solution yet I've never had issue with mine, just wanted some input to see

Had the nova 3 pack, sent it back was only getting approximately half the throughput of my 60mbps from my bt router, even in the same room and the app very rarely connected to the mesh. Went for this and get maximum speed if not slightly faster than my bt router... Pleased so far had them just over a month....

Interesting, I only have 36mbps internet (and it almost never hits above 30) so that may be why I cannot tell

I tried moving the points around the house but never got anywhere near max mbps. May have been me but gave up in the end and sent it back.... Do you have problems with the app not linking....

Personally get a good throughput (it appears, a NAS file copy is only about 15mb/s, so higher than you said, but not exactly legendary quick), house isn't huge in all fairness, have one upstairs, and then two downstairs incl. the main one by the router.

Linked up to my phone no problem, got an android oneplus 7t pro, unsure if the ios app is any good if that was what you were using

No on android, but 90% of the time it would not connect. I know there is no real need to use the app all the time but reading the reviews, it's a common problem.. If it works for you then don't change...
