Dont know (been thinking that myself) cause get wifi with bt broadband (remember those prices is with £5 broadband customer discount - headline rates) and also do one need bt wifi where got unlimited data, most bt wifi are free for all etc..

Only thing humming on, is FON and partners around the world.
If you are non-BT customer, i assume you can still get the headphones too.
Bloody hell. Just when I recently signed up and missed out on the headphones
You might as well throw your money in the garbage as take out a mobile in BT mobile as it doesn’t have full access to the EE backbone and is honestly one of the worst - speaking as someone who has to use BT mobile at work the past 2 years

BT is full EE, you even get wifi calling
I'm not seeing any mention of the headphones. Where is it mentioned?

"launching tomorrow"
Cheers; perfect timing will take this out tomorrow. Had bad experiences with all the companies, most recent being Vodafone so why not do a full circle and get a free pair of headphones
Ive been with BT mobile a year and honestly cant knock them at all. Ill give them a ring tomorrow when this is live and see what I can get out of them.

Please provide evidence of this
Evidence of all the staff complaints I had for this since I took over running the mobile contract Jan 2018 Through to now for 120 staff my company (was signed sept 2017 and delivered dec 2018 before I was handed the pile of mess)
Or do you want Evidence of the complaints to the account managers at bt that were consistently raised since I took over
or do you want evidence that BT Mobile network hasn’t transitioned and merged properly with the EE backbone and still on their “to do list of promises”...and their best suggestion to get better coverage for calls and data is to make sure the bt Wi-Fi app on each device is fully functional so the phones can piggy back off peoples home broadband and public hotspots to cover their poor network?
to the point in some areas where staff are based we have had to take out separate EE contracts for lines to get access to the EE backbone in those areas?

Switched from EE to BT and notice no difference at all.

I went from EE to BT and the coverage is exactly the same.

I went from BT to ET and couldn’t get a signal.

At the end of the day all networks have good patches and bad patches - it’s why Wi-fi calling has helped a lot of networks as previously there were always a handful of users across a fleet I would have to install booster boxes plugged into the staff home broadband for whichever network at the time we were
having looked after corporate mobiles on O2, Vodafone, EE and now BT mobile over the past 12 years at various times I’ve never faced as many complaints as with BT mobile - especially in a world where we use mobiles as hotspots daily- hopefully this deal will help those in areas that BT mobile does work well
Anyone know if a BT mobile sim would work in an iPhone XR locked to EE? Thanks

Wow. As a boss your grasp of the English language is awful. What company do you work for? Ive worked at BT for 6 years and what you’ve written is rubbish.
I'm with BT and the signal keeps dropping!
Just checked my available tariffs and switched to this:

BT Mobile 50GB Extra Speed PlanEach month you'll get:

  • 50GB with Extra Speed 4G, Unlimited access to BT Wi-fi, Unlimited minutes, Unlimited texts
  • This includes a £5 discount because you live in a BT Broadband household
  • Free BT Sport on your mobile

Ongoing monthly payments:

  • Only £15.00 a month
  • Maintains existing term

So with my broadband deal, means I get 100GB and BT Sport with the fastest speed for £15, happy with that.
What broadband have you got? Have you got complete wi-fi package?

Rubbish. Same network. Different propositions, but same network.
15GB for £15 Quidco £75 cashback.

The headphones sell for around £70 online. Combined with cashback makes it around £2.92 p/m
I've recently switched from Three to BT Mobile (although Three has great value for the amount of data you can get on their plans, their coverage and data speeds are less than stellar at times), and the LTE speeds I'm getting just blow me away, pretty much you're gonna be getting the full speeds that the EE towers can provide if you take out an "extra speed 4G plan", and even though it's supposed to be limited to 60mbps it's otherwise in the real world. In the same spot Three would only be getting about ~50mbps on a good day, and EE would be getting pretty much the same speeds as BT would.

Also, originally I bought a 20GB data plan for £20 per month, but once I got the SIM card and went onto the BT site to check my plan details, I could upgrade to 50GB for £20 so that was a no brainer!

Hi, if its helps anyone, I called BT to see if they can update my mobile plan that both me and my partner were on, and they offered me the below.

Two BT sims with 100GB data on each sim for £35.
This i believe is a family sim package deal, with the usual unlimited calls, unlimited texts, and BT Sports. This price included their BT Broadband £5 discount.

Here's the bonus bit......as I also have BT Plus, they doubled the data allowance on both the sims...so both me and my partner effectively get 200GB each. For the price, this works out about £17.50 each, which is not bad.

So its definitely worth phoning BT, see what else they have and haggle with them.
Anyway to get the reward card and headphones for £15? Did this last month for the speaker and worked a treat but can’t see it this month unless I do the £25 one!
Rang them today. As an existing customer they gave me 70gb for £16 a month. Was paying £25 before. Happy with that

Did it start a new 12 month contract?
Hi
Nope, I was still within my current contract duration.

Might be within your current contract duration but did it start a new 12 month contract ie extended it
Nope. The offer made didn't start a new 12 month contract, and it wasn't extended.
I'm still on my current contract term which ends in January. I've double-cheched. All BT did is upgrade my plan and I'm still within my current contract duration. BT stated that this is one of the benefits of those who are on the family sim package.....i.e I can review and change every 30 days
