This deal for existing BT customers. £13 for Non-BT customers.

After £40 Gift card it comes to £56. Also you can cap your tariff so you dont spend over.

I dont believe quidco but there is potential quidco as well.

Last time I checked (yesterday, when I ordered the £5 plan) TCB was offering £40.40
Great deal. Overall cost is £96 but £35 Quidco + £40 Amazon means it works out at £1.75 a month
Not sure how this isn't hotter. I got this deal a while back. I ended up getting more in cashback and vouchers than the cost of the phone contract ! oO

BT bought EE so they are using their network which is the best for 4G and coverage.
Sounded a good deal for my daughter who needs.. no, wants!.. more data but I have a cheap (£5) BT sim only plan for my son - you can't cap at zero; can only cap at no more than £5 extra per month - that's twice the price if he does go over! And I'll almost guarantee that'd be £13 every month for my daughter!

When I talked to the guy on the phone yesterday he never mentioned me that. Good to know though.
Was going to post this. For BT households this is an absolute no-brainer. Even for non-BT households it's still a great deal. For light data users the 500mb/mth tariff works out at less than zero for the first 12 months as long as you are a BT household and the Quidco/TCH cashback/Amazon gift card comes through OK. Crazy!

Not allowed, but possible on Android. Disabled on iPhone.

I use Android and use EE 4G and setup hotspot sometimes to share link. I don't know whether they can tell.
Probably will have to share the BT free WiFi connection also. Will test it with home broadband first.
Any comments?
I'm looking for this amount if data with the recent hueawi 4g router. anyone experience if using one of these in a mobile router? thanks

James
Thanks just ordered the 2GB plan. It's tracked (TCB), but tracked as BT Broadband - New Customers not BT Mobile! I cleared my cookies beforehand and defiately clicked the BT Mobile link... the amount is right though so we shall see.

..have taken a screenshot of the BT Mobile page in case! Clearly says "XX if you are not in a BT Household" so i.e. if you are then you pay the lower price.

This is great for BT customers that's for sure. But equally it's really not great for those who aren't - I'd be paying £3 more per month for the same amount of data I'm getting now - which cannot be called a good deal.
I signed up for the £20 sim in November. Will downgrade this November to the £8 contract as I am not even getting close to 1gb of data a month due to btwifi. Bt are offering an upgrade on 4g to super 4g (for £4 a month extra -one month free trial) offering speeds of over 70mg to your mobile.

For me as a Bt customer...bt mobile is a must have.

Tethering is allowed on EE 4G.
I've had to chase BT today for my Amazon voucher, I received an email directly after I made the claim stating they would check when I took out my sim only deal and let me know a voucher would be sent (this was the beginning of Feb) - I received no further communication from them and no voucher, the guy has gone through the same claim process with me again today and I received the same email saying they'd check and haven't heard anything further yet, I will keep you updated

Tethering not allowed on BT though
BT seem to think I have BT Broadband, I have Plusnet bb, I know BT own Plusnet so maybe I can go for the BT rates. Slightly confused.
Tethering is working on Windows Phone without any problems. Vouchers claimed in October 2 x 20 pounds - never received, chased them few times, finally gave up, just disappointed.

I was looking at Btmobile but 12 month contract put me off. Ended up going with Life 3G but the network coverage is pretty poor compared to my work phone on EE 4G. Would BT be any better on 4G?

BT coverage would be the same as EE 4G as they use the same network.
Just ordered, so giffgaff is slower than o2 with 4G (limited bandwidth on o2 masts)

Is this the case with BT and EE?

Would be interesting to see these agreements between the major networks and the smaller MVNO's. I'm on Giffgaff and although the price is good for what I get (same as this deal on a 30day contract for £12/mo), I very rarely feel like I am getting full speed 4G. Sometimes I cannot get a connection at all and sometimes I get network busy when trying to make calls. So obviously you get a second rate service compared to actual customers of the major networks. But I guess that is sort of expected since the prices on MVNO's are usually much less. I am sure they don't state anywhere that I have seen that you don't get the same treatment on the network though.

I am hoping since BT have bought EE that their customers will hopefully get the same access to the network as EE customers!

same here buddy they're useless - messed up quidco and amazon vouchers - more hassle than what it's worth, customer chat just gave the wrong VOL number out, and then it all falls apart as all declined, and you have to go through the process again, this has been on-going since I ordered on 28th November and still nothing

Never had a problem claiming vouchers yet but takes up to 45 days see here vouchers.bt.com/off…aim
Just done a £5 a month one so they will pay us £22 for pleasure and two £8 a month contacts will work out at £14 for the year and cash back appears to have tracked.
Just ordered but forgot TCB

Further to my post above it's not actually about the Amazon vouchers but my Top Cashback has gone from "pending" to "confirmed" this morning, so at least that side of it appears to be coming through
2gb this would be a great deal in the 90's

I'm going through the same hassle after getting the 20gb data deal a month ago. Great deal but be prepared to chase up for the Amazon voucher
