Hopefully a new customer can confirm if they can get it. BT don't have it online and it doesn't show for the advisor on their standard screen as far as I gathered? Tell them it's 100% available and see what they say...
It a retention deal there is other thread with all of them listed like 200gb for £20
Not a retention deal as it was a new sim order.
I'm a brand new customer and got it when signing up.

And now today I got it again on a new sim. New number. New order, only the sim.

Did a Live Chat (Existing broadband only customer) but was not offered the deal, even when I linked them to this page. Nevermind.

I did have broadband and dim only, but cancelled BB due to no fibre (with BT, but now got it with Vodafone... Strange!) but got a retention deal for £10/month with 10gb, double speed WiFi and unlimited minutes & texts...but I also got a £60 credit to my bill, so it works out £5/month. Happy days!

Don't know if the guy was just being very nice, couldn't be bothered or needed to hit the quota for the month, whatever the case, I'm not complaining!

Yup on broadband and never had a problem. Their billing useless. But if you have some patience then you can get a cracking deal.
I got this deal a couple of weeks ago as an existing customer, it was an upgrade option on the website.

They were regulars on Watchdog when I worked on it.

I'm surprised their billing is such a mess considering their massive wealth.

It is a retention deal cause it adding second sim to account. They all now give good deal for 2_or more sims / products cause more u have, less likely u leave. On website ppl just starting out through.. With just "one" product.

BT own EE and bt do some good deals
50GB Extra Speed 4G sim

"4G is already plenty fast, but now on BT it can be even faster, as the network has just launched an Extra Speed add-on, which doubles 4G speeds from a maximum of 30Mbps to a maximum of 60Mbps.

Real world speeds will almost certainly be lower, but should still be a lot faster than the 4G speeds you’re currently getting. It sounds a lot like the 4G double-speed service offered by EE and although BT doesn’t go into the specifics it likely works in the same way. By allocating more spectrum to customers"

Slower speeds 30mbps but with extra speed it’s 60mbps and I sometimes get 80/90
Just got 200gb extra speed data and unlimited calls and texts £20 a month was paying £15 for 24gb and unlimited calls and texts
No luck with the live chat on this deal

No he didn't. Read it again, he had 50gb sim with broadband and thought it was a good deal so see if he could get other one. For starters his broadband might of been plus which double the data. But posted the post about retention deal. And clue it not for new customers at least now, is it on there site now?

Their billing system creates massive wealth - it’s no mistake, unless of course you notice a “anomaly”

And of course anyone who has ever, or does work in the telecoms industry knows that 5G is for suckers at this stage, especially in the UK. Most networks have failed to roll out proper 4G networks, never mind 5G.

Luckily for them most people don't check their bills because they're too busy dealing with their next social media update. Winner for big business, loser for consumers who can't be bothered to keep an eye on the bills.

I trust no corporate, so they'd have to try very hard to rip me off. Vodafone is the only successful one to date, but that will be flipped when I make a Moneyclaim against them.

Why bother spending cash on 4G when 5G is the way.

Except: Three is spending cash on both over the next 3 years, 25 5G cities - 1500 base stations with upto 400% upgrades for the busiest base stations and that’s 2019 only - per its financial year that ends 31/12/2019.

Add it’s uber International standard NETWORK spectrum.

As a journo you should know that the underdog is always the one to watch

Three make me laugh I used to be with them for over 5 years but I knew about the throttling that they always used to do speeds are trash compared to EE or BT. Three offer unlimited data but what good is unlimited data when you're buffering all the time I wouldn't trust three to provide fast 5g speeds even tho 5g on paper is miles ahead of 4g

Yeah the network wasn’t good even they bolted on 4G to 3G network, much better now & more improvements to come esp with the new super dooper 5G backhaul, Three on paper will crap on the others it played a very good hand on 5G planning.

We will have to see real world usage tho on paper means nothing until I see results and consistency is key here. and pricing is a huge factor if they go the EE route and charge ridiculous amounts of money it won’t take off as it should also people aren’t as interested in 5g right now will be end of 2020 before it takes of with iPhone 5g

Well it has spectrum for a network not some 5G spectrum as a network. Continuous spectrum, the other 3 were complaining (crying) to Ofcom about it

techradar.com/new…age

It wont cost more than EE lol, it will cost BT revenue though. Of course people are interested in Threes continuous spectrum, upgrades to 4G, backhaul and 5G, BT still has exchanges in cities still on ADSL/ADSL MAX where people want unlimited 4G as a replacement but capacity is low and speeds are as bad as BT Openreach.

People, businesses alike aren’t going to hold back for Apple 5G for another 18 months, why Apple went to Qualcomm with its legs between its tail and said: ok we pay you royalties now like our agreement says, sorry we no pay you till now, get into bed it’s cosy and your cash is on the side

Meanwhile nearly ever other big manufacturer has 5G launching this summer at the latest...

Wait for Apple ? People need 5G, many businesses are banking on 5G - Apple doesn’t know if it really wants Qualcomm after making up or if it will buy the Intel modem division

Wait 18 months+for a £1500 5G iPhone... erm the masses won’t.

This is all correct, but trust me the average consumer really doesn’t care for 5g this very moment. I’m on FTTP with BT 330 down. Banks and businesses maybe. And weather you like it or not apple is a huge influence and 5g won’t take off fully before they get in the game and apple is actually making there own modems in next few years and if it’s anything like there A series chips which are the best in the industry it will be huge. Just FYI I have an android phone a mi9. also own iPad Pro 2018.
I have this available as existing customer. 50GB for £15, 200GB for £20. I'm thinking about 50GB at this very moment.
