Should double if the customer has bt plus (£5 per month) on their account. It doubles the data for all sims amongst other things. Cashback card is a nice plus too
Does anybody know if BT Mobile has limited access to the EE network? Whether this be speed caps or frequency restrictions like Virgin Mobile does. I am aware that BT owns EE however I am still under the impression BT Mobile acts like any other MVNO on the EE network.

I have BT mobile and have done for years after using pretty much all the others and no one comes close for me, I get around 100mbs to120mbs downloads speeds and 10 to 30mbs upload and I'm not in the main parts of my town so that's phenomenal speeds, my fibre BB only gives me 55mbs.
Also unlike a lot of the others you get full 4g speeds when roaming also, three definitely throttle you in roaming as my wife uses them.
I tried EE and oddly there speeds was slower than BT despite using the same infrastructure, so clearly EE limit speeds to the 30mbs or 60mbs but BT don't.

I maybe wrong but in my experience, BT has standard plans where the speed is limited to 40mbps or something and then they have "extra speed" plans where its uncapped. The max I have gotten is 120 mbps. Never felt slow. Think they have full priority on EE
I just got this on the 12month £20 contract as existing customer, upgraded to plus on my fibre to get double the data on the sim to 200GB/£20.
Any idea on roaming ability on this deal. Three may be slower but there doesn't seem to be a single network that matches their country roaming list you can use with your allowance
Why is this deal cold? Just curious as I'm considering switching

Three were forced to stop throttling while roaming quite a while ago.
Can't even find this offer on their website, can only find a 12 month contract. Although this is by no means a bad thing and more preferable.

No idea why it's cold, equivalent EE or other main provider is about £28 a month. Once you take into account the £85 mastercard, it costs £155 a year, i.e £12.92 a month. Very hot IMO and buying now to replace a Vodafone SIM only.

First time to try BT, lets see what they're like. Only bummer is they don't offer visual voicemail - but who calls now I guess.

Any BT customers know if you get Wifi calling in the event of poor siginal at home?

Yes WiFi calling is available, see attached. Yes I did it over the phone as couldn’t find the deal online. I moved from EE which was £30/m for 100GB and kept running out of data.

Offer is not working through checkout for me. I can see it, click through various screens, takes ages to load and then comes up with 147 other offers and this one isn't there. Live chat can see the 100gb offer too but unsure if this is a technical glitch as apparently others having the issues.

Please post if you can get this through.
90GB available for £20 a month online.
There is also 50GB available for £15 a month.

Is that excluding the bt broadband discount? Please could you send a link, I can’t see those data options.
just upgraded the wifes phone. thanks, heat added. shouldve added the additional sim for my own plan for +£15 and 100gb also but i bottled it thinking it would complicate the process.

only potential issue: Confirmation email does say 'we're changing the way we increase our prices. From March 2020 the increase is based on the consumer price index of inflation...' wonder if this is for new sims meaning my current SIM (not this one) cant be increased price wise as it has never increased and ive had 5 years+. either way free BT sport and 100gb for kids car hot spotting +annual inflation if a bargain! thanks

It’s including. Add an extra fiver for price without discount.
Expired not showing?
To anyone who bought this, were you able to downgrade to a lower price plan after the first month? EG 20GB for £20 which is currently on the link.

I was raving about this deal as signed up a few weeks ago but the speeds on the home hub are not compatible to EE speeds. I thought BT using (and owner by BT) would be the same product. I have done daily tests and each days the download and upload speeds are roughly half that of EE. Has anybody else moved from EE to BT and experienced this.
Hi, I called BT, and they offered me the below.

Two BT sims with 100GB for £35. This i believe is a family sim package deal, with the usual unlimited calls, unlimited texts, and BT Sports. This price includes the BT Broadband £5 discount.
The bonus.....as I also have BT Plus, they doubled the data allowance on both sims...so both me and my partner effectively get 200GB each. For the price, this works out about £17.50 each, which is not bad.
So its definitely worth phoning BT and haggling with them
