BT Mobile SIM only retention offers: £15 for 25Gb data, £18 for 35Gb data per month

For those of you who are BT broadband customers that are happy with BT Mobile, consider this before switching to the Family SIM.

The BT retention team have just offered me:
£15 per month for 25Gb data with unlimited calls and texts
£18 per month for 35Gb data with unlimited calls and texts

N.B. The above include BT's offer of a £5 discount per SIM for being a broadband customer.

I've taken the £18 offer for myself and the £15 offer for my wife and daughter's SIM only deals. This results in a total monthly payment of £48, which for the same money you will only get the Black Friday 3 x 20Gb data plans on the BT Family bundle with unlimited calls and texts.

I was originally paying £20 per month for my 20Gb plan deal for my wife and I, and £10 per month for my daughter's 4Gb plan.

I won't get the £40 cashback reward card offer, and I won't get any other cashback benefits (Topcashback/Quidco) had I been a new customer, but I've saved £2 per month and got more data all round.

If you're already a BT Family SIM subscriber and you're beyond your initial 12month contract, speak to the retention team and see what they could offer you. It may be even better than the deal I have.

There are other network providers who offer large data bundles, but this one hit the sweet spot for me, so do your own research and speak with your respective retention team before taking up the first Black Friday offer that looks good value.

For example, Sky's comparable offer gives you 10Gb per month for £20, where the data rolls over for a maximum period of 3years, but that deal wasn't for me as my wife and I consume close to 20Gb data easily every month. I also work away from home and hotel broadband isn't always so good when you're sharing it with 100+ guests' devices.

3 Mobile offer 100Gb for £27, or eat as much data for £35. Once again for me, 35Gb suits me just fine and fits well within my budget as I didn't want to spend more than £50 for our family's three mobiles.

Handy for the mobile bill BUT I’m more interested in reducing the BT infinity broadband bill that has gotten way out of hand.

£10 for 4gb, hoping to get slightly more data, or a £ or 2 cheaper.
Thats the only thing that hurts leaving BT, they offered 4gb for £8.50 (includes the broadband discount

I'm leaving BT Infinity and going for the Plusnet £22.99 deal for 38Mb fibre INCLUDING line rental. Even the Plusnet TV and BT Sport packages work out cheaper.

An added bonus with the 35Gb SIM from BT is 4G Extra speed which I just logged at 36Mb down and 17Mb up (inb the centre of Chester). Furthermore, coverage is excellent and allegedly I'll get the same 4G extra speed at my caravan in a field in rural Denbighshire! Yes, I pay an extra £5 for abandoning BT Infinity but it's still worth it.

Right so I have gone through quidc I and signed up for infinity 1 where does it say anything about £100 pre paid card anyone please. Thanks

not good, rang up today to speak to retention. was offered 25gb for £20. I wanted the £15 but no joy today. my sim only contract runs out in a few days. going to ring every other day. I want the £15 deal

I this expired now? Can't see these offers on the site.

It's not on site it's existing customer offer. Retention deal which depending on usage , what other products etc u get a customised deal.

I'm a low user and a couple of weeks ago was offered unlimited minutes + texts, with 1Gb for £5, or 4Gb for £8.

Retentions today offered unlimited mins/text and 25gb data with 4g extra speed for £16. Took it and got 30 days to change my mind.
