£20 for existing BT customers, otherwise £25

Should be changed in the description.
yep, clickbait
Voted cold for not considering a non BT customer who was almost enthusiastic for 30 seconds before finding out the sad truth.. Plus I would spend £27.20 throughout STUDENTBEANS for unlimited sim only with EE, so not a deal for me.
Got to say I'm loving the BT family sim deal. I pay £90 for five unlimited data, text & calls sims.

1 each for family & the 5th sim is in the router at home.

Don't get the discount as we dont have a landline (and never will) but no one else came close to that deal even without discount.

BT doesn't have unlimited plans as far as I know.. Watching hi res movies on Netflix, YouTube, etc on a smart TV using a 4G router can easily get you over 100 GB/mth.. I was struggling to stay within my 40GB/mth limit on my mobile, when I was with BT.

They do now cost £5 extra
Hello all.
Have any of you tried to get this deal as a non-existing customer? I've been on two chats and they say that there is no new customer deal for £25. They say it's £35.

It’s only available through the get deal link.
Thanks for replying. Even when I go through the get deal link, I cannot get this deal as a non-existing customer as when I click through the pages on the website it eventually asks for the phone number and postcode of the BT account holder. I can't figure out how to get this deal. Anyone got this deal for £25? I would go for this deal if it could be done.

I found an unlimited deal when I switched my sim only to a family sim - it was £30 a month. The thing with BT is you are better taking the deal with the best cashback / reward card and then switching to the deal you actually want on a family sim once your account is set up - the list of options is massive including duplicate allowances with different prices. For example, I signed up for 20GB for £25 with £110 cashback and a £60 reward card (that I didn't know I would get but was on the order confirmation email) however the same package is £15 on a family sim so switched to that

Ask a friend with BT broadband for their phone number and if you can have the sim sent there. The account is totally separate so it won't affect them. I do this every time with family. You can then switch to whatever package you like by changing on to a family sim - hope this helps

I have BT broadband - when I follow the link and log in to my account it says cannot process order as not a mobile customer. No £80 cash back showing either. Then when logged in and look at adding BT mobile price for 100gb shows as £30 (also no cash back). BT operate an increasing level of voodoo around what the offer is depending on the affiliate link you use to arrive at their website and then when you get there live chat tell you the offer doesn't exist. The Advertising Standards Authority should investigate (but they won't unless someone complains, and having complained to the ASA previously I can tell you their process is a PITA and takes ages).
Thanks for the help and comments guys. The gift card offer finished yesterday at midnight but after searching on here it looks like it's something that comes round time and again with differing amounts. I'll bide my time and see what comes up. Thanks again.

Would be even better when you're in a 5g area. Bye-bye BB !

if you have a look at how sh$t 5g is being rolled out - with the speeds that 4g was meant to deliver now coming to life on 5g ! I was in LA with my friend with 5g - one street 1000+mbit and rest of the coverage area 40-60mbit lol - dont believe the hype.

I completely agree with this but as stated above, once you've signed up you can immediately switch to whatever tariff you like. To give you an idea, I signed up for 20GB for £25 on 4th feb. Once I'd got my sim and transferred my numb in I moved to a 'family sim' 30GB for £15. Today I checked the offers and found I could get 40GB for £15 so double my initial allowance for the same money - I switched. The only consequence being I am now contracted until 28th Feb 2021.
It is confusing but you can play it to your advantage - sign up for the plan that has the best cashback / reward card via whatever affiliate link offers the best deal then switch to what you actually want. I got 110 cashback and 60 reward card £170 total less my rentals of 13x15 (195) = £25 for 13 months or £1.92 a month.
Play them at their own game

There was no mention of reward cards from the link I followed from topcashback, I was ok with that as the cashback was worth more. When my confirmation email came through it had a link to claim a reward card. I think that is pretty standard even if it's not showing so see what is worth more cashback or reward card. If its cashback you may end up with both anyway. If its reward card just go for that. Hope that makes sense mate
Cheers matth5182. I will look on Topcashback and Quidco to see who's cash back is the best and take it from there. Very helpful.

So you still get the reward card?

I can't guarantee but if it's on offer at that time it seems to be applied to your order even if it makes no mention of it when you order. It shows on your confirmation email

Ok
I’m just waiting for my friend to text me his home phone number, am I right in saying I can use his number but my address?
Can anyone confirm if watching BT sports through the xbox app still works? As that seemed the only way to get BT sports on your TV via these specific deals.
When logged into my BT account there is no mention of reward card even at checkout, tried logging out and going by various links and none even mention a reward card either in deal or checkout so not sure how people are seeing this.Good luck to anyone ordering.I will skip for now until BT sort themselves out.
I pulled the trigger on 30gb for £20 with BT sports on mobile. When the sim arrives and it's all get up I'll use matth5182s advice and see if I can get more for less.
I have £85 tracked in Topcashback but can confirm no gift card is mentioned on the confirmation email from BT but still happy with the cash back and BT Sports.
You have to send the sim to his address but it asks for your address details for the credit check

You can have unlimited data for £30, 100GB for £20 or 40GB for £15 or a combination of many others but they are the standout deals. I would suggest going onto the reward card page after the 30 days cooling off period and logging in, you never know, you may be entitled to a reward card after all
Thanks again Matt. Fingers crossed! But if there's no gift card it still a good deal for me. Switching from 3 and can't wait. I think their network is broken. Data speed is appalling and I live in a big city.

The reward card is not mentioned anywhere when you order. The customer service adviser told me so. But you should be able to claim it after 30 days.
Happy days. Thanks for the info. Would be great to get the gift card but I'm cool if it turns out I can't. And thanks for posting the original deal. I didn't even know BT did mobile

How does the speeds from the router fair? Can it handle multiple devices and netflix / amazon / roblox? I'm tempted to do the same as our house is at the end of the copper landline so we can only get about 40mb
Existing BT mobile customer how much is it to upgrade to 100gb?
Just ordered signed up to 40gb but given me 20gb tried to amend but there not having it
Also does it show up at EE or BT on your phone?

Just ring them with 14 day rule and cancel it they'll change it then.

It shows as BT. But you get the same network / speeds as EE. BT own EE.
