I'm paying £30/mth for Plusnet 76/18.
I don't understand why BT is dearer when it's the same or lesser service.

When is BT going to pull their finger out and roll out something to compete with Virgin Media's throughput?

BT are awful, never use them... if you do you've been warned

I dont mind BT they be not bad, line does drop once a day .. right....about ....NOW ... but only for a few seconds.Get my full 52mb, but they do ban you from visting to many interesting sites I got the £125 mastercard last year which came in handy for coke and Tarts.

Was with BT for 2 years and they constantly told me there was nothing wrong with my line despite poor Internet speeds even tho friends next door had great speeds on sky, so changed to sky last month and sky picked up the fault before even connecting me fixed it and now I have great broadband at half the cost of BT and not being lied too, avoid BT at all costs, you have been warned.

Plus net doesn't have access to there open reach true fibre but that crushed by virgin anyway

bt charged me £129 for an engineer call out, even if he could not fix the fault, so I left, never again

Op, this isn't a great deal, I'm paying the same at the moment for same broadband but with landline and tv starter package.

Plusnet have traffic management though where BT don't. I do agree they're expensive though, I wouldn't be with them if I had to pay full price it's ridiculous but their internet has been faultless since we had it installed and we got a £125 reward card we paid the bill with and £121 quidco pending also to go on the bill.

Recently got rid of BT to move to Sky. The internet would drop every now and then (only for short period but it was enough to mess up my Hive heating system) and they said it was because it was a new line and needed to settle down. Now with Sky and it hasn't dropped once yet. I was also receiving mail from them addressed to somebody else. I rang to ask them to stop sending it and they insisted that it wasn't from them. Had to chase the promotional gift card for signing up to them - several times. Relieved to get rid of them

29.99 x 12 + 59 - 60 - 150 ÷ 12 = £17.49pm
surely this is a bargain for fibre broadband and line rental? this is also a 12 month contract rather than 18m so can change again in a year.
For me it's this or the Vodafone 76mb which works out about £24 pm.
Are all the negative votes due to poor service and experience with BT?

Would be great if existing customers can get the cash back that's up for grabs.

I got the cashback last time I switched but couldn't claim the MasterCard due to a system error. Went round in circles with "support" until the claim period expired, which is now their excuse for not paying out. Have taken to twitter, raaa!! (I do appreciate that claiming cashback and a reward is taking the mick a bit, but that's their fault for offering it).

bt are terrible keep sticking things on your bill first i was paying 11 quid a month for internet security never asked for it phoned up got it sorted after a few calls then they cut my internet off as i hadn't paid bill which was strange as i pay direct debit at the time they owed me 32 quid got that sorted after loads phone calls latest one is questioned latest bill they have added on a call package at 10 quid a month which yet again i hadnt wanted i dont think i have ever had a correct bill off them only reason im still with them is they still owe me money

Are you BT sale agent?

Worst customer service I've ever had to deal with - in the end took them to ofcom and won, shocking company.

i have signed with bt on november, service was activated 7 weeks later after numerous delays and yesterday i was checking my account and noticed first bill wich was almost £170 instead of £80 (including the £59.99 setup fee) as expected. I have bern charged an extra 50 for some sort of connection, about 13 for some phone calls made before receiving confirmation of line transfer to bt and some more money for some services i do not get. Really sorry for not listening to people warnings. With all the "savings" i was supposed to make now i think it was worth to pay extra to my ols supplier and avoid all this hassle. A lenghtly phone call follows today to sort my bill so i expect to be transferred between 3 call operators and 4 managers.

Signed up for this 3 days ago , got a text message that we can't get in touch with you about your order . I called BT to be told that the order failed and they'll put me through to sort it on the phone . "This is so you don't receive Quidco/TopCashback ! The connection charge went from the £9.99 advertised to £40 , so if I'm having problems even before connection and they're being sneaky what are they goin to be like during service . So I told them to stick it , now I'm receiving texts abd calls fin customer service about my experience with BT . This company has turned into a JOKE . I should have listened to the reviewers!

Maybe I should cancel the order I made 2 days ago. I was only offered £125 reward

Even cheaper if you pay the line rental upfront

Cold as it's BT, wouldn't use them if it was free, awful service and the customer service is even worse!

BT is awful, they deny cashback on run when they send payment card. also speed on fibre broadband is very poor... just waiting for my contract to get over ...I will get rid from them...

With BT 30+ years but moved to Plusnet (also owned by BT) 2 years ago due to poor customer service when they changed their email service. Plusnet cost and service have been excellent. It's not the cost stopping me going back to BT it's their poor customer service. Life is too short to be messing about on the phone for hours with someone on the other side of the world who knows less than I do.

i was on simmilar deal, signup on black friday, after all they put me on standard broadband, try to complain few times nothing has been changed so i canceled.Ps dont believe in their stories about first 10 days your speed might be slower, give them a ring before your 14day coolung off period will finish

Hmm surprised this deal is cold, it's the cheapest way to get fiber!
Has anyone actually got the £60 cashback tracked when using this uSwitch exclusive price?
I can't believe that BT is that bad.. although I have never used them - presume plusnet is the better idea?

I ordered this a week ago. Cashback has tracked. with all the negative comments, I'm looking forward to dealing with them!!

As a former customer I can't fault the fibre deal. No issue.
It's the cheapest even without quidco or topcashback. And it's for 12 months.
I have heard that some areas of London have no fibre connections left. So wonder if this is one of the reasons for some poor service.

Everyone giving BT bad flack, try using Virgin! Constant dropouts, bad ping to their servers, bad download speed when a little bit of wind is outside, and they do nothing

The £150 cashback is for everything. Fibre and telephone reduced to £110.

Plusnet is very good as I was on it but BT rocks for sure. BT is the nuts for sure, Plusnet Very Good though. Just my opinion. Pricing with cashback, MasterCard payment card etc, make it a total steal ...

Yes

I'm now getting an error on the checkout page, anyone else have issues ordering? Ref# CON-0067.

Just signed up for this,, over £120 in charges.
Equipment approx £60
Connection charge £69 approx (without looking at my order)
Only signed up in order to get Virgin Media retentions to make me an offer that I can't refuse. Intending to cancel the order if Virgin make me a better offer to stay with them.

I've just signed up to this. as I think its a good deal bare in mind that generally I only speak with customer service once when I first change over then have never had any need to speak to them again , and i've been with BT before. I swap over every 12-18 months.
so this deal £29.99 per month x 12 =£359.88 plus £59 router deliver and activation fee total £418 - 150 card credit - £80 quidco =£188.88/12 = £15.74. I have had a bt deal about 3 years ago quidco paid out and I received a Sainsbury voucher all with no issues. I'm very interested to see a better deal posted as this is cold at present and I still have time to cancel this if a better deal is posted cheers

This seems to have now gone up to £34.99 / month, with an expiry of essentially midnight today. Did they sneak up the monthly rate while the offer was still in play?!

I got TV minimum, broadband they reckon is 50, anytime telephone calls package, plus a phone SIM (half price at £5 a month). All for £34.99 a month, £130 topcashback, £150 reward card.
However the adverts on the TV are now promoting £80 reward card
Hope I get the £150 promised on here !
