Quite a few places state these are good bang for buck and better at half the price for this 3 pack.

Check the reviews before purchasing as not great.

It brings super-fast, super-reliable Internet to every room. - not sure how unless you already have super fast internet which I dont.

well thats my issue, I have super fast internet from Virgin. Right now its only super fast in one room!
Thanks. Single also £39 so ordered just the one
Dreadful devices!!
I have three of these connected to my Virging hub and they work fantastic. I get the full speed all over the house and even in the garden.
Do these take over the job of the router or does the router still broadcast alongside, extending the range even further?

Price gone back I think
Just about to order and then it’s gone back up to £199.99
Best to disconnect the WiFi on your router. Then all yourWiFi is this network and you don’t need to change network when you move around.I’ve found these fantastic and have a signal on all three floors of my hose and a lot of the garden. I would recommend these.
Single back up to £79 and trio up to £199

Or just check how fast your internet is before you buy?

Can you expand on this please? How do I do this and what’s the difference to the original set up? Can I do this with BT Smart hub?

I don't think this is true. It seems to be some sort of myth. I asked the BT Whole Home support guys, who otherwise were superb, and they waffled, clearly not having tried not turning it off..
With most mesh wifi you connect one to an Ethernet port on your router and then place the others around the house. As you now have a mesh access point next to the router it's best to disable the router's wifi to avoid channel conflicts if nothing else. I assume these work the same.

Could I get two of these (6 units) and have 4 in one house and 2 in another?

Dreadful devices!!

Comments like this help no-one. Why are these devices dreadful? What problems did you have? Etc.....

All I can say is I have this system with VM's 500MB BB and it's worked flawlessly since I bought it a couple of years ago..

But where are these bad reviews? Certainly there are 1401 user reviews currently on amazon and 69% are 5 star and 13% are 4 star, with an average score across all reviews of 4.4/5, i/e. 88%!

I have 2 in a large house and outside wifi cctv, no issues and max speeds inside (100Mb virgin). About half outside which is more than enough.

I hope you realise one has to be plugged into the router, so one will give you no benefit.

Unless you already have some.

Yes. So one would have one plugged into router and three in various other places and the other house one into router and one in another room.
Thanks OP ordered - got in this time.

Quidco already tracked as well - fastest ever.

Thanks. Took the gamble before you replied and bought two before I lose it. Relived to see your comment
I'm on a Virgin 100MB connection. I hope can reach close to those speeds all over the house now
Back in stock as I've just this minute got one. Cheers OP
These will probably be on an older firmware version so remember to check for updates.

I have four of these and had stability issues with certain devices. They've been solid since the update.
Got a trio of these in our house - work brilliantly! Very easy to setup. As per other comments, you need one of the units to be connected to your router via an ethernet cable (supplied). Best to disable the build in wifi in your router then, to reduce wi-fi interference

NB - I happened to open the app the other day and notice there was a newer firmware version - which hadn't auto-installed despite being set to auto-update. updated fine when I told it to do so manually (not that I've noticed any difference)

Very worthwhile investment at this price, assuming your house is a decent size and/or you have thick walls or not-spots (wouldn't bother for a flat or anything!)
Missed it again 😞
Showing as 1 in stock but won't let me order
These are great - I tried ASUS mesh and also BT 'Halo' discs but out of the three, these have been the best. I have 4 around my house and my connection speed near enough mirrors what I get coming in from the cabinet in all rooms within range of the discs. Steal at this price, paid around £80 odd for two previously when on offer.
Edited by: "czrsiNk" 9th Apr
Bought these after doing a lot of research into mesh networks and found them awful to set up. The app was awful and the discs wouldn't find each other and then wouldn't be detected by the app. Went straight back and got the deco m4's on here a few weeks ago, cheaper and a great system.
Are these refurbished units of the latest model of WHW? I notice from the site photos the BT emblem of the refurbished units are blue, different from the brand new units which have a white BT emblem. Descriptions on both seem to be similar. Just wondering.

I have cat6 ethernet from the router under the floor to my tv in the lounge. Can I put the 1st disc in the lounge then subsequent discs around the house and leave the router wireless turned on? The kids are camping and I'm trying to get a decent signal in the garden

You can still use your router, but the first disc needs to be plugged into it. So if you have a long enough ethernet cable you could use both.
