Unfortunately when people post PC World deals they are not including Currys into the equation, even though they are the same company, So by Mod logic this is acceptable.

Ya know as opposed to just editing the other.

you mean the search box on this site needs improvement.

I didn't mean to cause a fuss

I voted hot as it's a good deal imo but the simple fact is it's been posted twice before!

Even when i posted this am coudn;t find either any "repost"....good for you then Still HOT HOT!

Third time i've seen this in 2 days now! But I did forget to order the last 2 times, it actually worked out quite nicely. Heat from me!

Not another Currys and PC World duplicate/mod inconsistency debacle again

So does this improve speed or stabilize connection for services like streaming or gaming?

I've often searched for ongoing sales here via the search engine & it doesn't always pick up even current deals, no harm in re-posting I'd say unless a mod wants to delete it.

Thank either way OP for hilighting it again.

Yep....

If they work (which they usually do) then its a far far better option to wireless although it isnt going to stabalize or improve anything unless you are on wireless as said before hand.
Had my Zyxel ones running for years without hitch/restart/anything required.

You need to use the code in the OP.

You need to use the code to get £5 off.
I'd personally pay a few pounds more for another brands 500 Mbps version but this is still a good price.

Shame these aren't passthrough, so losing a plug socket.

can you get a wireless one?
my laptop does not work always upstairs

My speed is 35-40Mbps. Will this improve my performance on a ps3?

it will lower latency slightly

Thanks.

We've got BT broadband with two pass through extenders that came with the set up. Can these be used in conjunction with our existing ones even if different brand?? Thanks

ta.

Do they need to be on the same ring main?

TBH I don't really need this, and I successfully resisted when I saw the last post regarding this deal. However, when it is brought up by OP again, I placed the order... So well done OP for the repost.

No, just the same meter.

I bought two sets and they work very well in a 3 storey town house.

Had trouble with the second set...until I read the instructions!

Although the instructions say "NO", mine work quite happily in a multi socket extension. The only wall socket I used was for the connection to the router.

@Sstuff

It's not 14.99 if you use the code stated in original post!

Thanks OP. Code worked just fine so £9.99

Hopefully will give me 200 mbps in the basement (WiFi range extender doesn't cut the mustard)

Only downside is that the code is only available for pre-pay options (either free delivery to home or pay and collect). Sadly not available for Reserve and Collect.

Have now ordered a second one.

I already have the 500mb version - currys.co.uk/gbu…tml - will these be compatible? Thanks

should be fine - but no guarantees.

I have always been able to run any brand with any other, so can't see why you should have issues with two BT ones.

There is a better model than this one this is old model.
If you have BT broadband telephone them they will send you a 2 pack free if yours was not wireless before. BT sent , me free

Ordered - thanks!

Will these be okay to stream Netflix?
