Agreed but it does give those who just want to watch their team in the Premier League or Champions League an alternative to a long term subscription. £10 for a week like you can get from independent retailers for Sky Sports on Now TV would have been a better option in my option.

yeah totally agree if they charged £10 would get everyone i bet. they do good quality shame sky have all the football
I have every feeling BT are having a hard time selling Broadband (everyone's prices are lower) and I cannot imagine how their retention rates are falling. I just will not be told my rate for a 40 year customer is £5 higher than a new customer. This will have a knock on effect to the number of BT Sport customers which results in this very poor offer, BT badly needs new ideas and management.
Why not get a Bt sim for £15 per month and get 20 data with unlimited mins and Bt sports and £40 reward card ???Not to forget it is shareable and multi device use is allowed .
Doesn’t make sense tbh specially if ucl footy fan . Easily 5-6 (Dec to June) months you have to be subscribed costing £150 . Using the sim contract trick would cost £180 (minus-£40 reward card) for 12 months and 20gb mobile sim running on EE network . Also you get double data if BT halo/plus customer .

This is wrong. It’s a £5 bolt on. 30 days rolling contract.

The fact that Sky don't have all the football is the main draw of this pass. For example, if you purchase a BT Sports month pass between Christmas Eve and the 27th of December you would get access to 18 live Premier League games with this pass, compared to just 11 PL games in the same period from Sky.

....but what about the other 11 months: Do you launch a product for a one month a year sale?
How much? Bt are struggling...

Sky have more PL games, but BT have the Champions League, Europa League and FA Cup. The beaulty of a non contract month pass is that you can pick and choose when you pay/watch, March 6th or 7th would be another good time to active one of these passes you would get the 1st and 2nd legs of both the Champions League quarter and semi finals, plus the Europa quaters and semi's (first leg), FA Cup quarter finals and some PL games.

I thought if you bought a BT Sim the BT Sport was for mobile devices only and Chromecast facility etc was disabled. Unless it works on an android box or something?

Again, they will probably end up losing me. The main reason I stuck with them last time was BT Sport at the discounted rate of £7 a month, but that's gone up to £11 a month (£132 a year) for me now and I rarely watch anything other than the Champions League games on it. Six £25 BT Sports Months passes will probably cover that next season, so if I can find a phone/broadband package elsewhere for more that £1.50 a month cheaper (which shouldn't be difficult) I will be quids in.

You would have difficulty in finding one more expensive than BT for existing customer renewals!!!
Has anyboby heard anything recently regarding the availability of the BT Sport app to Now TV customers ? Now TV's Ireland customers can purchase Sports Extra passes that give them access to 6 BT Sport/Premier Sports channels (see link below), and it was supposed to be coming to the UK as well, but I've heard nothing about it recently.

I put in the discussions forum when someone was talking about this deal... if you are on EE you can get a 3 month BT with Large Screen Access addon free trial at the minute and then it is £14.99 a month after the trial.

I'm with BT broadband on superfast fibre 1 unlimited for £19.99 and have been offered superfast fibre 2 unlimited for the same price to renew. Not a startling upgrade, but not too bad I thought for a renewal offer.

£36.99 for 67mb broadband, line rental and weekend calls here, plus £11 a month for BT Sport which has increased by £4 since I negotatied an 18 month contract that included a £24 a month discount late last year.

Not bad for me either ..
My speed is always above 62mb 24hrs highest reaching 73mb . Last month my speed dropped to 48-53mb , was offered engineer visit and a mini hub for next day (being a Plus/Halo customer). The engineer arrived before the mini hub and sorted the issue which was due to bad wire outside my house. Have a brand new free mini hub to myself 😁 and a week later £8 credit was applied to my account too which i wasn’t expecting .
I am paying £43 in total which includes -72mb fibre Halo1
-50gb (25gb+25gb halo boost) unlimited mins which has bt sports mobile(any device access)
BT Sport is free to watch on mobiles and tablets etc.... if you have BT Mobile
Now that BT have WWE I really need this but cheap. Plus PL and CL is a bonus. I'd need to see ot on a ps4 or xb1 so this pass is unfortunately best as I don't think mobile helps.

Because you can only watch on a mobile. Who does that? I want to see everything on a big TV.
The EE deal I mentioned above at £14.99 a month with a 3 month free trial so £11.24 a month (over the year). That includes big screen access so you can watch it on your TV.

If you have 'swappables' with your EE contract you can get BT sport for free and add the 'large screen access' addon for £5 a month so then it is £60 per year

Well, there's nothing stopping you logging onto your laptop (instead of your mobile)..... all you need to do is download the BT Sports app, then stream it on a big 60" TV via Chromecast.... That's what I do
