If you're an existing BT broadband customer, taking the sport tv deal will auto renew your broadband package for another 24 months so just be aware of that. Also, doesn't include HD channels

It includes HD on the BT Sport app, just not on the recordable box. Although how that works when the BT Sport app is retired is anyone's guess. Maybe it will still be HD on the Discovery+ app but no guarantee.

Whats point of this deal...they are losing all content to TNT for next season
    GOY's avatar
Incorrect, BT sports is CHANGING names to TNT.

Liverpool fans have no interest in European games now until 24/25 season at earliest.
Someone at BT just crunched the numbers. (edited)

Your right ...when was last time a team overturned a 3 goal lead to a Spanish team ....

I have BT Sport as my EE smart benefit and pay £5 to watch it on the big screen 🏻
    oggy.1's avatar
No, I get BT Sport free as my smart benefit (watch on my phone) and pay £5 a month to upgrade it multiple devices and big screen. So I can watch it on the BT Sport app on Apple TV or Xbox etc.

Can you get this if you already have a broadband contract with BT?
    rbz5416's avatar
Yes but as above, you're broadband will also be renewed for 2 years & the Sport price will go up in April.

I assume this includes access to the BT Sport app?

I appreciate that the BT Sport app is going to be retired once the rebrand to TNT Sports happens in July and becomes available via the discovery+ app - which is why I guess the BT Sport app doesn't get a mention in the blurb on BT.com promoting this £10 a month deal.

BT Sport app is included, I signed up today price goes up to £12.44 from 31st of march, but this is still a great price because you get the Discovery + app and also get a BT tv pro 4K box as well to watch your sports and discovery + on as well.

Take out a 24 month contract now and doesn’t the price instantly increase at the end of next month?
    freebiehunter's avatar
    Yes 14.1% increase
  8. zorbathegeek's avatar
Cold because a) it's an extra £6 monthly for HD - which is ridiculous. b) immediate price increases, unless you can wangle them starting the contract on the 1st March, despite this offer ending 28th Feb.
    A really sneaky 'deal'.
    SteadyEddieGeorge's avatar
At present you can get BT Sport in HD using the BT Sport app on a streaming device without paying the (absurd) HD supplement.

Even with the price increases (this year and next), it's nonetheless possible this might be a good deal for getting access to BT Sport / TNT Sports for a couple of years.

Worth it for UFC coverage alone
    EliotBanks's avatar
For a tenner yes but they do have some of the biggest cards behind a paywall, including upcoming edwards fight

DOes anybody know if this includes getting it on your sky box?
    echobase's avatar
    It doesn’t.

What's the best option to watch F1 and the premier league without taking BT broadband.
    c0n0r's avatar
    Sky

Is there a way to get this deal without BT broadband. I'm with Plusnet and tied up for another 7 months.
    jaws397's avatar
Might be worth speaking to them, as they're sister companies maybe Plusnet would release you from the contract.

Is there still some MOTOR RACING on EUROSPORT in this package ? Obviously, F1 is with SKY & C4, and FORMULA E, although included is also available for FREE) ? Would be good to get some racing from USA, AUSTRALASIA, and EURO championships. BTCC BRITISH TOURING CAR CHAMPIONSHIP on ITV4 is more interesting racing than F1. (edited)
    freebiehunter's avatar
Some rally and world touring cars on Eurosport, but from July when BT Sport is rebranded to TNT the press release said that Eurosport will be “rolled into the new brand at some time in the future” - So from that i'd say don't expect the same programming currently on ES to continue from July, looks like more of a BT Sport rebrand and a drop of Eurosport

Is the app being retired? Is this £10 deal only when you take the bt tv box?
Have sky don’t want the tv box.
    freebiehunter's avatar
Yes this offer is with the tv box, if you want it through sky you’d have to pay the full price as never any offers for BT Sport on there. You could always take out the deal for the box but not use it though and just watch on the app if you prefer.. but adding the additional box to your tv setup would be a better way to watch it imo
  15. EliotBanks's avatar
Virgin already have this offer and sky for 17pm
  16. cras's avatar
Does this include viewing it on sky
    SteadyEddieGeorge's avatar
No, this deal does not cover viewing BT Sport via Sky.
