BT Sport retention deal

Found 28th Jun 2015
As you may know, BT sport is putting prices up for BT Sport. They have all champions league/Europa coverage etc.. I was told prices would go up to £23.50 per month. I rang up and said I wanted to leave and they gave me a £6.49 discount (12 months) plus HD free for 3 months. They just said it was a deal at the moment for existing customers.

As oppsoed to 3 legged customers?

were you on a contract?

Just downgraded my bt sport through the email they sent me, so now I only get BT Sport 1 from 1st August. Otherwise I would have to pay extra. Be warned if you do not downgrade then they will charge you extra from 1st August. Thanks for this I forgot all about it, so you saved me money. Only just renewed my contract and they never said anything about this.

i had a different deal and i expect it would be different for most depending on whom u sleak to. i renewed my deal for 18 months with the sports for free on my current deal on bt infinity 2, bt view with the extra channels and hd and im paying, for 18 months with line rental 49.98. I still think its exspensive but only bt are in my area for fiber

I was gonna downgrade due to having no interest in the champions league, but it appears that the reason I subscribed in the 1st place (UFC) will only appear on the same channel as it. So, stuck with paying full whack for extra I don't want :-(

I don't know sorry, I just followed the link through the email I got to downgrade. From the 1st of August it automatically changes and you will get charged if you do not downgrade, I would do it sooner rather than later in case there is a catch. Didn't say anything about a new contract on my email. I will still get all the channels until August then only the one after that but it will still be free.

get a skybox f5s instead all channels for £16 a year check them out on ebay

It's a 12 month contract though. I was advise when within last 3 months ring in for other offers

Is this not £5 per month for BT BB customrs or free if you have BT TV......

sorry what is? the downgrade option or keeping the £5 month

You only get bt sport 1 if you downgrade, I've decided to give them a ring and argue the case as I have not long signed up to another 12 months with them and they didn't mention this to me at the time, so they are breaching there contract. It would be different if it was the other way round and I wanted to change my contract!

what's BT's number?
