Refreshed 22nd Nov 2018 (Posted 16th Nov 2018)
Update 1
Rewards increased further - now £220 rewards (£120 MasterCard Reward Card + £100 Marks & Spencers voucher)
Nice offer that's went live for Black Friday at BT Broadband!

£9.99 p&p cost , then £29 a month for 18 month contract.
However you get £120 MasterCard reward & £100 Marks & Spencer's voucher.
So assume that's £220 off the overall cost!

The line rental is £19.99 but you can pay 12 months upfront. This gives you one month free line rental saving £19.99

How to claim your BT Reward Card

The BT Reward Card is really easy to use. We pre-load it with money, and you can spend it on things like shopping and other everyday purchases – or use it to treat yourself.

  • You just need to activate it and then you can start spending.
  • It can be used at millions of places across the world (in most places with a Mastercard® logo). There are just a few exceptions that you can read about in the T&Cs below.
  • It uses Chip and PIN, so it’s more secure than spending cash.

3105150-8Lim1.jpg
You can claim once your broadband is up and running. For mobile, you’ll need to wait 30 days after you’ve activated your SIM – or 30 days after you’ve received your phone for handset plans

LOG IN HERE to claim reward

Now for some maths. The monthly cost at £29.99 is split into £19.99 for line rental and £9.99 for the broadband.
£9.99 p&p and £29.99 for 18 months equates to £549.81
( 18*29.99 +9.99)

If you look at the total with discounts.
£9.99 p&p
£219.84 - 12 months line rental with the discount for upfront payment.
£119.94 - remaining 6 months line rental ( £19.99*6).
£180 - cost of broadband over the 18 months.

Total cost over 18 months of the above is £529.77

Minus the £220 in vouchers the total is £309.77 is the total amount for the full length of 18 month contract

£309.77 divided by 18 months equals £17.20 a month.

That's £17.20 for 50mb fast fibre internet with line rental.

Hope you managed to stay with the arithmetic.

Hey man, know if you can take these if you’re an existing customer?

Existing customers are rewarded for their loyalty by paying £52.49 a month with no gift cards.

This deal is effectively a 9 month contract. They will raise prices next August and you can leave for free.
Exisiting customer here with current 12 month contract ending on Nov 27.

I did some "kwik mafs" and compared quidco BT super fast fibre deals and it worked out £16.66pm for Superfast 1 and £24.99pm for Superfast 2 after all the cashback and reward cards kicked in.

I called up cancellations and told them what I could get as a new customer (by cancelling current contract under wifes name) and taking new contract under my name. And she checked the system and offered me £19.99pm incl line rental for Super Fast 2. So i took it, and will pay the 12 months of the line rental section up front to save a bit more....

I could have gone through quidco to save £3.34pm but not really worth my hassle - you may want to! And the lady said superfast 1 or 2 give same speeds pretty much - all depends on where you live. If you can get more speed, you will do. So i think superfast 1 and 2 are just marketing. I do like the 20Mb upload speed though.

I don’t really think the speeds are super fast when you look at the speeds available now days.

I’ve voted hired due to the price and offer.
Can you just not have line rental? The land line is dead these days
Dam ordered yesterday can I cancel for this better deal?

Simply register on their community forums and bellyache like nuts. You will then get the attention of one of the mods who will sort it for you. Happened to me a few years ago and 'Patrick' not only sorted it out for me very quickly, he even gave me a call a few weeks later to make sure I'd received it. easy peasy.
Warning.

The get deal button is an affiliate deal link for cable.co.uk. Full disclosure should be in the description. You are much safer going with a more reputable affiliate like QUIDCO who have always paid out for me and the cashback can be withdrawn to your bank account. The M&S card is a poor deal and like others have said you might not get it.

edit: link has been fixed.

You can’t buy the deal through 2 different affiliates. This one is through cable.co.uk (undisclosed) or you can go through Quidco who will pay you £92.50 cashback which includes today’s £2.50 lightening bonus which you can swap for £104.50 zeek shop credit and use that to buy M&S gift card or one of the many other gift card choices. Quidco are reliable too

If you're out of contract yes, just sign up as a new customer, take over your existing line and you're done, your old account closes* and the new one opens. If you go this route do not ring BT to cease your old account, a pending stop will make the new order fail.

If you do take over your existing account, you will lose your current phone number, any BT email addresses and any data in the BT cloud.

* If you have BT Sport on Sky or Talktalk, this won't automatically cease.
* BT Mobile would also remain active as it has no broadband requirement.

I was offered £35.99 for the fibre plus package as an existing customer.
It should be mentioned in the description that the “get deal” link is an affiliate link for cable.co.uk who get a generous commission if you buy through that link. You are better off using Quidco and activate today’s lightening bonus.
Also even though it says ”18 Month Contract” BT are 99% sure put prices up next summer meaning you can leave without penalty. This is effectively a 9 month contract making the monthly cost much lower. I make it 30 x 9 months + 10 = £280 minus £120 MasterCard & £104.50!zeek credit (£92.50 Quidco) = £55.50 divided by 9 months = £6ish per month.

Any decent BT sport offers? BT Sport contract coming to an end
Re the M&S card:
broadbandbenefits.co.uk/mar…rs/
"The £100 Marks and Spencer giftcard is available to customers who order a new BT Superfast Fibre + BT Sport On App package via Cable.co.uk and their partners between 12th – 15th November. Orders placed outside these dates and via any other site do not qualify for this offer. Recontract or regrade of existing service does not qualify for this offer. Claims must be completed using the above form no later than 15th February 2019."

Is this just un-updated info? I can't find this deal by going via the Cable.co.uk website, which only offers the Mastercard, not the M&S card or free BT Sport. If the M&S card isn't applicable, you're better off going via Quidco. Was this offer sent by Cable.co.uk promo email today?

EDIT: I contacted Cable.co.uk, who responded saying this is not an active affiliate offer of theirs (expired midnight 15/11, ), and that the only affiliate offers they have you can expect to pay out are on their website. Buyer beware! Does anyone know the original source of this link? I'm buying via Quidco as it looks with this you might end up with no rewards at all.

Sign up with another company then once thats going through BT email you with a contact number and they will also try and call you. You will then get a proper retention deal. until you move to another supplier you won't get anything.
I signed up with plus net then BT offered same deal as this (50mb fibre and BT Sport) for £24.99 or £21.99 without BT sport inc line rental. I did line rental saver so my bill is only £5 a month

Are BT as bad as people make them out to be? Looking for a fibre at the moment as moved into an area with slow ADSL speeds and BT along with Virgin get slated a lot.

They are not just marketing - SP's buy a wholesale 38mb, 52mb or 76mb top speed products to retail. So if your line is "capable" of 76mb and you only buy Superfast 1 you will only get 52mb maximum

My area is capable of 76Mbps, and for last 2 years I have chosen the 50mbps package on purpose. BT then write to me every year and say I can have a free upgrade to the top speed package. It used to be called BT infinity 1 but was getting infinity 2 speeds on the house. It is just marketing in my eyes.
quidco and TBC only paying £100 now for superfast

if BT lift prices in the next 18 months- could I defnitely leave penalty- free?
