TalkTalk have increased prices. Do you want to leave?

I am not saying BT is good or bad. The price for 12 months seems great as long as you cancel after this period. Unlimited BT Infinity 1 + Weekend Calls + Line rental upfront 12 month deal then cancel.

Unlimited BT Infinity 1 + Calls £11 per month = £11 x 12 = £132 for year 1
This package includes:
Unlimited BT Infinity 1 with up to 52Mb download and 9.5Mb
upload speeds
Unlimited Weekend Calls to UK landlines
100GB BT Cloud online storage and BT Virus Protect online
security

Line Rental Saver
Get 10% off standard line rental. Instead of paying for your line
rental monthly, pay 12 months' standard line rental up front and get
10% off £205.08

Connection, Activation & Delivery Cap £59.99

Line Rental upfront with one off fee = £265.07

12 month contract deal = £11 x 12 = £132 + £265.07 = £397.07

Quidco Cashback £100 + BT Prepaid Mastercard £150 = £250 back.
£397.07 - £250 = £147.07 for 1 year = £12.26 a month (Great deal)

Much better than Talktalk.

(Without Quidco £20.59 - poor deal).

Isn't the contract 18m not 12.

Nope!
Shows quite clearly on the landing page:
" £29.99/m + £59.99 up front fees : 12 month contract"

For anyone able to transfer now I'd have thought the definite BT £150 card (if you bother to claim it) and the likely £100 Quidco makes it compelling. (Personally I used to flip between BT and Plusnet as often as permitted by contract commitments to blag these "new" customer paybacks.)

Worst customer service I have ever had. Will never again deal with a company that have a call centre in India. Got out my contract after 3 months without any penalties as service was so bad. AVOID.

How did you get out of your contract early?

I'm getting slow infinity and BT are saying that the fault must be in my property and it will cost me an engineer visit, but it was openreach that installed and tested my line 3 months ago as my house didn't have a phone line.

You have clearly never dealt with Plusnet then.. they are 10x worse

They are all the same and all have poor customer service.

Except Sky. I've been with almost all broadband providers and only Sky had great U.K. Customer service and actually sent someone out free of charge and fixed my speeds issue. Turned out it was my second phone socket causing issues.

Never again

I was able to track it but now my order saying

"An issue has occurred. Please try again or come back later.
If the problem persists, you can contact us."

anyone else having this issue my is due to be switched this week ? Contacting them wold mean losing cashback.

Hopefully it's a software problem as my order
