BT Unlimited Infinity 1 - £29.99 for 18 months + £150 reward card + £95 cashback (Quidco) + Free BT Sport for 12 months
£245 cashback seems pretty decent, better than the offer I got last week of £150 reward card and £50 cheque Not cancelling again though but might help someone.
Lots of BT deals so nothing new but this seems reasonably decent amount of cashback, if Quidco goes through of course!
£0 activation fee and standard £9.99 delivery fee. 18 month contract. BT Sport free for 12 months as well if you want it.
£294 in total for 18 months if the cashback all works out or £16.37 a month.
Prices increased on the 7th January.
EDIT: Looks like you do, £3.50 p/m and £50 activation fee cheapest.
I was interested in the deal until the 25gb usage limit. Search continues.
There's 2 packages for Infinity. The normal one which includes a usage cap (which I believe you are referring to) and the Unlimited version which this deal is which is Unlimited usage, no caps.
There is no usage cap for Unlimited Infinity. There are 2 Inifnity packages, the normal one and the Unlimited one. I wouldn't have got this package myself if there was a limit trust me!
As below
Everyone one has different issues with all providers.
This is a good deal if cashback pays. It’s better than what I got
I would have stayed with them again this year had they not told me I've got no offers left as I've had enough of a discount the last two years! Best they could do was £33 a month for 12 months.
Hopefully BT will be ok, I don't envisage any issues but will see....only annoying thing so far is the variation in offers from week to week!
I've been with them since June and everything has been perfect. I don't think you'll find a big ISP that some people won't of had a bad experience with, they're all much of a muchness.
I disagree. If everything goes smoothly you get a good experience. If something goes wrong you are thrown to the wolves, cos nobody in BT knows how to deal with out of the ordinary. Then if you cancel or something because nothing works, you get hounded by their legal department because again nobody knows how to deal with out of the ordinary.
Unfortunately the race to the bottom means that you get no different with any of the big ISPs, but it is different with many of the smaller ones. But they'll cost more.
TBH i'm on a massive economy drive at the moment so I'll probably get this much as I've already had a horrible experience with BT, and then display zero loyalty and jump onto something else in 18 months.
I was coming from Virgin and disconnection from Virgin was 31st March. So now I have no internet . Not a great start so far with BT.
All i seem to do switch between those two.
Same here, price increase (be nice if they told you), but also noticed that they had charged for BT Sport. Few years back, when they introduced it I signed up for the "free" basic sport package (never had the need to use it) and so because of this, since January Mr BT thought it was ok to charge me for BT Sport - without asking if I wanted it!
Complained to the billing dept - sport package removed and charges refunded.
I believe this monthly cost of 29.99 INCLUDES the line rental so no need for line rental saver anymore.
Yes. But other than the address, use a different bank account for direct debit and also different email / contact details. Choose activation date when your current contract expires. I did this a few months ago, got the reward card and cashback without an problem.
Move house?..I've waited 21 days for them to get my services running..after at least 10 calls...
The best I've managed with talktalk is 67mbps down and that's after trying both their supplied router models and the two BT modems as well as another few router/modems.
The strange thing is I told someone else about this price rise allowing them to leave and when they phoned the price was reduced to £36 with a BT mobile sim only contract as well.
I even asked to drop from infinity 2 to infinity 1 but they said that would increase my price by £2. I said I wasn't happy paying so much more than other customers, I couldn't see why infinity 1 customers were getting boosted to infinity 2 speeds if their lines could cope while we infinity 2 customers were paying extra for next to nothing and that I'd been with them for tens of years.
Never pay upfront for line rental to save a few Shekels.
When they raise prices and if you want to leave you have the hassle of getting it back.
