£245 cashback seems pretty decent, better than the offer I got last week of £150 reward card and £50 cheque Not cancelling again though but might help someone.
Lots of BT deals so nothing new but this seems reasonably decent amount of cashback, if Quidco goes through of course!

£0 activation fee and standard £9.99 delivery fee. 18 month contract. BT Sport free for 12 months as well if you want it.

£294 in total for 18 months if the cashback all works out or £16.37 a month.

BT have been amazing for me, everyones experience is different. It's no different from any other supplier. You can get a good estimation of speeds you will get with BT. You get given a guaranteed speed and I always hit the guaranteed speed. Much better experience then that I received with Virgin!

I am already with BT is there any deals for existing customers. If there isn’t my contract finishes in 5 months what are my options
Just looked at my BT account and they've charged me more money these last 3 months. I've had no notification through email or post that my contract was increasing. Can anyone provide any info on what I can do about this? TIA.

Prices increased on the 7th January.

Do you have to take a TV package to have BT sport? I don't see a page where I can just add it for free.

EDIT: Looks like you do, £3.50 p/m and £50 activation fee cheapest.

There's 2 packages for Infinity. The normal one which includes a usage cap (which I believe you are referring to) and the Unlimited version which this deal is which is Unlimited usage, no caps.

There is no usage cap for Unlimited Infinity. There are 2 Inifnity packages, the normal one and the Unlimited one. I wouldn't have got this package myself if there was a limit trust me!

That is good . I will leave bt as my year is up. They won't offer any deal . Will look out for such a great deal...on other supplier ..good post
If I can talk anyone out of signing up for BT, DO NOT SIGN UP WITH BT. They're awful.

I agree I swap every 18 months to get the best deal and I am yet to have any major problems with anyone other than Talktalk.
As below

Everyone one has different issues with all providers.

This is a good deal if cashback pays. It’s better than what I got
When they say "new custormers ordering bt broadband" does that mean new BT custormers or does it include BT who has never had broadband with them? I am already with bt but never had broadband with them.
It is a bit luck of the draw with providers I guess. I've been with Sky the last two years and I've never had a problem at all, speed consistent etc. but a lot of people will say avoid them.
I would have stayed with them again this year had they not told me I've got no offers left as I've had enough of a discount the last two years! Best they could do was £33 a month for 12 months.

Hopefully BT will be ok, I don't envisage any issues but will see....only annoying thing so far is the variation in offers from week to week!
Pathetically bad company. Dont pay them a penny
I have BT mobile, would this mean I'm not a new customer? I've never had broadband with them before?
If you move home within the 18months, do you need to pay to have the connection move with you?

I've been with them since June and everything has been perfect. I don't think you'll find a big ISP that some people won't of had a bad experience with, they're all much of a muchness.

I disagree. If everything goes smoothly you get a good experience. If something goes wrong you are thrown to the wolves, cos nobody in BT knows how to deal with out of the ordinary. Then if you cancel or something because nothing works, you get hounded by their legal department because again nobody knows how to deal with out of the ordinary.

Unfortunately the race to the bottom means that you get no different with any of the big ISPs, but it is different with many of the smaller ones. But they'll cost more.

TBH i'm on a massive economy drive at the moment so I'll probably get this much as I've already had a horrible experience with BT, and then display zero loyalty and jump onto something else in 18 months.

Top Cash Back also available if Quidco is not for you
I use now tv pay 19.99pm for my fibre. No worried about sports as get that online anyway. Plus only 12 month. So not such good deal for me. Plus now tv customer service is ace. Bt well let's just say it's bad very bad.
Free sport is a red herring, you have to take the minimum tv package too, at £50 activation it not free at all
Super hot.
BT sent me an email a few days ago offering minimum speed of 100 Mbps at £55 per month 😨
Anyone got a nifty way I can end my current contract (well past minimum months) and restart a new one with this offer? I've got 2 mobiles tied up with it too which makes it harder to move away. That's how they get ya!
Be careful. Hidden connection charge of £60 with BT. And if you leave within your 14 day period they will charge another £68 for cancelling BT sport which you can't opt out of when signing up. I took the deal where BT sport was only available on the app (cast it to my TV) but was still going to get charged £128 all in for leaving within the standard consumer rights 14day period. Bully boy tactics
Recently switched to Sky but speed is awful - 35mb package but only getting 16 According to them minimum should be 21 or I can leave without penalty so might switch using this deal (altho waiting for cashback and prepaid card to arrive from that deal so hope it comes soon....)
Just got Quidco tracking confirmation through for £115 on this offer - not sure why as none of the current cashback offers are for that amount.
Signed up to BT 11th March, install date was suppose to be 29th March but now that’s been pushed back to April 10th .
I was coming from Virgin and disconnection from Virgin was 31st March. So now I have no internet . Not a great start so far with BT.
Mine expire at end of May. Can I leave them and sign thru my wife name and bank account? Same address. ..
I cannot think of a more inept company, truly shocking
How much cheaper will this be with the line rental saver? will it just be 1 months line rental cheaper?
Currently with plusnet, that deal ends in May , so im trying to sign up with BT, wont let me as i have BT sport with plusnet and i have to cancel it, crazy as they are the same company!

All i seem to do switch between those two.

Same here, price increase (be nice if they told you), but also noticed that they had charged for BT Sport. Few years back, when they introduced it I signed up for the "free" basic sport package (never had the need to use it) and so because of this, since January Mr BT thought it was ok to charge me for BT Sport - without asking if I wanted it!
Complained to the billing dept - sport package removed and charges refunded.

I believe this monthly cost of 29.99 INCLUDES the line rental so no need for line rental saver anymore.
BT is great until you want to leave or move house. If you plan on switching in the future or moving home don't go with BT

Yes. But other than the address, use a different bank account for direct debit and also different email / contact details. Choose activation date when your current contract expires. I did this a few months ago, got the reward card and cashback without an problem.

Move house?..I've waited 21 days for them to get my services running..after at least 10 calls...
BT were going to be charging me well over £60 and wouldn't budge on price so I managed to leave early because of the price increase. I went to Talktalk but they are a shambles and my speeds have been as low as 5mbps interleaved down for there faster fibre when I used to get the full 76 (well more like 79990 sync) fast path for around 4 years with BT.
The best I've managed with talktalk is 67mbps down and that's after trying both their supplied router models and the two BT modems as well as another few router/modems.

The strange thing is I told someone else about this price rise allowing them to leave and when they phoned the price was reduced to £36 with a BT mobile sim only contract as well.
I even asked to drop from infinity 2 to infinity 1 but they said that would increase my price by £2. I said I wasn't happy paying so much more than other customers, I couldn't see why infinity 1 customers were getting boosted to infinity 2 speeds if their lines could cope while we infinity 2 customers were paying extra for next to nothing and that I'd been with them for tens of years.

Never pay upfront for line rental to save a few Shekels.
When they raise prices and if you want to leave you have the hassle of getting it back.
