Don't understand why this one from Amazon is cold but the one from BTshop is hot.

Because the other deal was posted first.

It's a different company selling it at a slightly cheaper price. Where's the logic in this being voted a worse deal?

People don't like duplicate deals where the price is basically the same.

I've usually found Amazon price matches to get hotter than the original posts. Maybe this guys just unlucky and posted this deal at a time when there's not many hot voters on.

It's not a duplicate deal and it's not basically the same price.

Yes it is.

I'd prefer to get it directly from BT as there should be 11% quidco cash back as it's a BT branded product, and the quibble free 30 day refund policy if it doesn't improve the wifi around the house.

Dad needs one of these as he can't get internet in all rooms and the homeplug booster isn't as good as this, but it's still too much money.

BT do better than 30day, they just refunded me on a new Smart Hub which was 9 months old!

That will come down to personal experience. I have found both customer services very good.

Amazon used to be good a couple of years ago, very good, now they are shockingly bad.
