Wi-Fi dead spots will be a thing of the past with the BT Whole Home Wi-Fi System. Ideal for an average-sized home with three to five bedrooms, this innovative kit comes with three discs, which talk to all your gadgets in order to automatically connect you to the fastest, strongest signal as you move from room to room.

Whether you’re in the basement or the attic, you can stay connected and enjoy your favourite TV, films, music and games whenever you want – even if there are lots of other devices using Wi-Fi at the same time.

This super-useful device is controllable from the app, which provides guidance on how to set it up easily, spots technical issues and tells you how to fix them, shows you who’s online to ensure you stay in control, and allows you to pause the internet with one tap. It also has bedtime controls so you can set schedules for individual users or groups of devices to limit screen time at night, while a secure guest network keeps your home network safe. It's easy to share details via the app, see at a glance which devices are connected and block any you don't recognise. It’s Wi-Fi at its simplest and at its best.

Features and Benefits

  • No more dead spots – You’ll be automatically connected to the fastest, strongest signal wherever you go.

I'm now in the mood to watch Total Recall
Got one of these for free as a trial. Really good. WiFi now covers entire house and garden, even the distant corners.

I had them from when they first came out to about a month ago - they are OK but Netgear's Orbi pro are way, way better although granted twice the price of these.

For the money you won't get better however they aren't the fastest solution...

Which mesh system is best I wonder ?

Sky Q have the mini box “multi room” option built around a mesh system.... £10 a month for sky in every room in the house and a WiFi mesh that reaches about 60ft/20m down the garden
These are bloody awesome! There are usually other good deals out there but they are totally worth the money! Usually the double disc would be enough for most large houses through, three if you want to extend to garden perhaps. Great bit of kit!

You can sign up here to test BT products that are not yet released or which they need people to test new firmware for bt.centercode.com/enter/ . I received a free triple set in exchange for testing firmware and app updates. This is also how they usually test the new BT Smart Hub's which you often get to keep.

The feedback for Sky's mesh solution is pretty poor with complaints of poor speeds and connection problems, have seen a few people on recent whole home deals also mention about giving up on sky mesh and buying this in the end which solved their speed problems overnight.
Maybe a stupid question but I'm guessing these will work with any broadband provider like virgin or talk talk or just BT
Yes, have the tripple pack here and working spot on.

Your just one user, their are many people with numerous problems when it comes to sky mesh. Sky also have a poor history relating to their own routers. At least with whole home you can use it on any network also offers, device restrictions and guest network.

Correct. It’s nice to change providers and keep the WiFi the same makes switch over easier for the family.
My current google WiFi drops out every so often with Virgin broadband. I then have to restart it despite the hub looking healthy. Nothing seems to fix despite looking on forums and talking to google support. Anyone using this with Virgin and having a good experience ??

There's no such system - all destroy your health the same way.

You would probably be better with a line of sight wifi antenna if you only need extended range in one place
