Don't know too much about cable as we cannot get it where we live.
But the standard broadband/calls deal sounds pretty good to me, especially if you are a low user, or if like me you want BT Sport as that will save you an extra £13.50 per month which effectively makes the Unlimited Standard Broadband Better Than Free Also.

Like most providers, deal requires you to take line rental with them which is £16.99 / month standard
or £169.90 / yr in advance (12 mths for price of 10 Line Rental Saver )

The vouchers are for redemption at Sainsburys.

BT Hub itself is free.
Delivery charge of £6.95 has been included in the above calculations.

Always check Quidco and Top Cashback as they always have cashback deals as an extra bonus to make the above deals even better, but note these cashback deals fluctuate every few days and are not guaranteed to track.

All the packages at good prices have terrible download limits.

Stay away from BT, once they complete EE acquisition see the prices going up to cover the 12bn.

Worse decision we ever made, will be leaving BT as soon as the contracts up. They regard anything above 40 Meg as acceptable on a 78 Meg contract!

I just paid a fiver a month for unlimited broadband from bt - seemed reasonable with sports too.

BT pay them for the sport/football coverage that you don't watch and therefore don't want. No doubt the acquisition of EE will end up quite similar, paying for something you don't use and therefore don't want
