Seems a good deal for a bike with hub gears and disc brakes. B'TWIN are pretty reliable by all accounts. The specification is not high, and it's a bit on the heavy side (13.5kg according to one of the reviewers), but great for a runaround for less than £200. A much better bet than cheap supermarket bikes, I would think.
Well spotted enator!
Decent bike for the money, some nice touches. Usually budget bikes have a cheap quill instead of a headset.
So much better than the usual gas pipe cheapies that crop up here. Hub gears will require virtually no maintainance and the elevated stays mean the chain doesn't have to be split to remove it for cleaning. If it had a dynamo it'd be perfect!
Great bike for the money. I'd say that's ideal for commutes up to ten miles. that's a proper bike, with decent components that has been specifically designed for commuting. it will last too, and you will enjoy riding it. much better than the usual scaffold pipe bikes you see on here.
