one from Aldi is 2100 mAh but that does discharge very quickly if not used

You're confusing AAA's with AA's.

My apologies if I am wrong, if they are 2300mah, then thats a good price(_;)

These are the worst batteries I have every owned. Much lighter than normal nimh and don't last long.

BTY also make 3000mah. It's unlikely that they are and I would say these are unlikely to be 2500mah.

BTY do have something of a reputation on ebay for some of their cells being diabolical.

Believe me, these are garbage
never buy rechargeable batteries from chinese sites, they always cheat about the capacity

Had some of these - absolute garbage, too light to be anywhere near 2500 mAh and wouldn't charge on my ni-mh charger. Save your cash and buy some branded ones instead.

will agree with above, these are definitely not 2500 mAh. Just like memory cards from China they are a load of tripe and never the quoted size.
