If you Google 'spirit level' on your phone it will load one in your browser - no need for an app.

Yep, my phone doesn't lay level because the camera lens protrudes slightly. Also, the top and bottom of my phone are curved so this app is of no use.
Thanks

or glue on some adjustment packers. Use the app to gauge the required thickness!

That's the spirit.

Clear and precise ... Some might even say a very level headed response!

Curved corners don’t matter,it only needs about 25mm of flat edge to give a reading, an average phone has about 70mm before the corners begin to curve.
My phone case was a problem as the camera hole is raised.

Calibrate it first on a surface that you know is level in all directions. Then save that calibration.

Never thought of that 😁
Or turn the phone on its side and use the long edge

Water always finds its own level so a sink full of water would be best for calibrating the App on your phone. May need to thicken it up with some porridge or wallpaper paste to up the surface tension to support your phone's weight though.

I didn't say 'corners.' The top and bottom edges of my Moto G4 are curved.
This is as useful as a spanner is to a carpet fitter
How is it different to the free version I've already got?

It's probably exactly the same and just as useless.

So? Your phone has a side as well doesn't it? (two of them i'd imagine, although one side presumably has buttons sticking out slightly)
Where to buy extra bubbles?
The bubbles are made with Gold fish farts
On the iPhone compass app swipe left and there’s a spirit level. Blew my mind. For me this completely justified £1k on a phone*

Love it , hot

Good shout, but if you don't have access to the internet then this app would be useful
Nice one...
Used this on my S6 for a while. It's very good. Same accuracy as my high end Stabila reference level.

Works well tried it on my flat desk and I see its off a few mm and not dead centre.

Before this app I did not have OCD, thanks.
You need a spirit level to calibrate the phone, LOL

If you are using your phone as a spirit level, you are doing something wrong.

That assumes your phone has an even weight distribution.

One side of your phone being 1-2mm higher isn't visible to the naked eye but if you're using this to level a surface/object meters long, it will scale up to multiple cm.

I wouldn't trust a phone's gyro to hang a picture straight, they're designed for relative measurements, not absolute and lose accuracy very quickly.

Thanks! Very handy. It's a pity that the same doesn't happen when you Google 'compass.'
