This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

I have been looking for this type of product but generally seem to be priced around £5 and more. I bought 2 when I saw this price.

Fits most 20 - 25L valeters pails and larger heavy duty 15 L buckets with wide bottom. Stops sponge, chamois or cloth contamination of grit before using on vehicle bodywork.

Guys, please help me get my head round this. Unless it is a one way valve, how is this better than "dunking your cloth in the bucket and sloshing it around" as long as you don't touch the bottom of the bucket?
Bear in mind I use the 2 bucket method (cloth rinsed in dirty bucket before returning it into the soap bucket).

Yes wicked deal.
Helps to prevent dirt, grit and grime being transferred back on your sponge, cloth or mitt when cleaning vehicle bodywork.
Even if you don’t buy that it allows the dirty and grit to settle to the bottom of the bucket. These are great for scrubbing your mitt against to remove dirt. Much better than dunking in a bucket and sloshing around.
excellent found, i have wanted these for ages, ordered two too!
This should be a mandatory requirement for all those charity car wash events!

Great, just about to clean car and thought i should really get one of these. Good price. Heat!

Is it me or is their search feature pretty useless?!
Nice one op ordered 2
OP I've been after these for years but could never bring myself to pay a fiver for em (cheapest I could find)! I am eternally grateful!
Wanted one of these for ages. Got two - for me and my dad. Thanks!

Firstly you should not be stirring up grit and muck in a bucket - let it sink to the bottom, these stop you then picking up that grit and muck off the bottom, getting it caught in your mitt (don’t use a sponge) and then scratching your paintwork

After using these especially the two bucket method, you will be surprised was been kept at the bottom of the bucket
I thought this was some new fangled chastity belt when I saw the title.

Keep trying, you'll get there
I use similar to these at the bottom of 25l plaster mixing buckets from Screwfix.

There is a bit of a placebo effect here as already hinted above. As long as you dont rinse at the bottom of the bucket these are not really necessary.
That said, I’m sure if someone did a fluid dynamics analysis they’d prove or disprove their use. I still prefer the prevention option than blind hope.
The guard will at least change the/slow the motion of the water near the bottom helping dirt lift back up into the water.
There's a slightly smaller one on Scamazon for a little more, in case your bucket is too tapered near the base: amazon.co.uk/Cik…c=1

Strange comment to make.

As you are a physics expert. Can you confirm or disprove these are useless? How do you factor in the inertia of the sloshed water? Does the mass and currents in the water have a lesser effect of gravity on the dirt particles?
