Found 12th Mar 2013
I've described this as a budget break because i;ve tried to get it as cheap as possible, there are still ways to bring the cost down, you could shop around for cheaper accomodation or transfers but this is what I have found:

5 Nights for 2 Adults and 2 Children, flying on the 3rd returning on the 8th (I appreciate this may not be everyones term time as they are all different but may help some).

The weather will be hit and miss, we have been in April and had glorious weather but we have also had some awful weather too, in any event it will be nicer than here right now.

NOTE: I have not included cases in this deal, the reason being its only 5 nights, personally we would not need cases and the 10kg you can take on the plane would be sufficient for us, or not going to need towels i dont think this time of year for a start, if you do insist in checked in luggage why not just add 1 @ £30, you can put your heavy stuff, liquids etc in that and also utilse the free 10kg hand luggage.

I hope this helps someone out there xx

yes do! I did look at the All Inc option but it doubled the price, personally I would pay as I think it benefits you in the long run, especially this time of year when you may spend quite a bit of time in the hotel, but wanted to show the cheapest available for those on a budget x
thank you!! can you do the same next year please :-) too late for me to change mine now :-(
did you happen to come accross anything flying from london airports?

have a ganders through this one: unfortunately they seem more expensive, your best bet is to try stanstead or if you can Bournemouth, they seem to be the cheapest down that way xxxx

yw, like i say its not to everyones choice, the reviews are a bit poor but we really enjoy going t here it has entertainment, games room and even a little 30 seat cinema for the kids, the price now is £220 for family of four including breakfast, lunch and dinner, breakfast we found a bit hit and miss but the evening meals were lovely and save you a bomb when your there xx loads of vouchers around at the moment too

oh and if your not taking kids try the savoy or the grand, they are britannia hotels too but nearer to the centre and a bit cheaper xx

Dangerous due to carbon monoxide poisoning. Don't do this people! That is just like the sad story of those that suffocated to death putting a barbecue indoors.
Could be even cheaper if you took the local bus to/from the airport. We did it when we went to Salou and it was cheap and convenient. The bus stop is right outside the arrivals hall and, as far as I can remember, their schedule is matched against Ryanair arrivals.
Think those dates are when a lot of Uni sports teams head out there and just go mad. Enjoy the carnage!
Very cheap, but that hotel looks like a dump. Sorry but I could not stay there.
Hot for the price but i wouldn't want to go back to Salou if it was £50.

there are thousands of hotels to choose from, i have merely chosen the one from the top of the list.

You should also bear in mind that when paying for a "budget break" you are going to get "budget accomodation"... you get what you pay for. good luck xx

Except for the fact an oven is a far cry from a barbecue or open fire. A) it could have been electric, B) ovens aren't vented so there's no difference between door open and closed if it's producing CO you're screwed either way.

When any carbon based fuel is oxidised it gives off Monoxide, as its a natural by product, this has been done for years, go ask your grandparents and they will tell you, its like saying you would die if you cooked food on your gas rings, opened your oven the turn food, or lit your gas fire, there will always be a suitable amount of airflow in a large room.

Those that suffocated using charcoal BBQ's were subdued to higher volumes of monoxide aswell as smoke inhalation in a very confined space.

That said it is dangerous, if its in a small space, with limited airflow.

Check out the Cala D'or deal posted a few hours ago, assuming either UK airport is practical for you. Far superior to this, for not much more.

The Cala D'or is double the price of this as its a higher quality hotel...

I could post a millionaire deals with different levels of accomodation but thought it best to start with the cheapest and let people choose their own accomodation.... the more you pay the better you get.

im sooo glad you posted this, doing a little more research now. thank you x
Hmmmm, I went there a number of years ago and it was OK, but I was ill the whole time I was there. I noticed a suspicious looking concrete pipe that came out on the beach which looked verrrry dodgy... perhaps should have run out some considerable distance to the sea?

Got home to see the same beach plastered across the front pages of the tabloids and the headline "Typhoid Salou"!

It wasn't typhoid I had, but a good old-fashioned helping of the two-bob bits, but I think I'll pass on this wonderful opportunity.
