Yeah, not everyone likes bud - I am sorta ok with it, once I am half sober
Over twelve and a half pints of Bud for £12 ...less than a Pound a pint...Off to ASDA tomorrow. Thanks OP.
Heated, nice find Will grab some for the guests, unfortunately I can't drink on my meds as I get pretty sick... been a while since I could drink now

Oh damn, a life without drinks I hope they let you drink a pint or two soon-ish
I remember getting wasted of this and waking up in McDonald's breakfast. To this day I still don't know how Bud got me there
These twist off are so good I work at a bar and had this dad come up and order a bud... as I got it out I twisted the lid off all of a sudden this little girl gasped and said dad did you see what she did... you couldn’t even do that he said no I couldn’t ... it did make me laugh

Wow 410 degrees.. clearly doesn’t account for taste on here
Again not my choice of drink but 50p a bottle of a major brand of lager is decent. Voted hot.
This is Asda's standard price, sometimes you can get them for £11.00 and other times it goes up to £15.00. Heat added though as it's still a descent price.

Thanks - haven't seen it for £11 in ages though to be honest. But yes if it does go at that price it would be absolutely amazing - please do share when you see it at that price next.
Anheuser-Busch InBev is to make all of its UK Budweiser beer 4.5% abv, as it straightens out a difference in alcohol content between packaged formats and draught.

Starting from December, Budweiser in the UK will be brewed to have the same alcohol content. Currently, cans and bottles are 4.8% while draught Budweiser is 4.3%.

A spokesperson for AB InBev told just-drinks that the abv gap exists only in the UK. It is unclear why there is a difference in the country.
Bought 6 crates of this earlier today.

They looked at me strangely as though I was some alcoholic!

Already had 3 bottles from the first box, and it proper went down well with a pack of triple cooked chips..

Have warmth.

Kindest regards

Well that sucks. This may as well be branded Bud Light now, since the real US Bud Light is at 4.3% ABV.

IMO it's real simple what they need to do here in the UK

Offer 5% Budweiser as standard on draught and in bottles at 330ml
and offer 4.3% US recipe bud light on draught and in bottles
Also offer the aluminium bottles

I'm certain they'd do better over here if they did this..if I can see it, why can't they?

Why reduce the 4.8% to 4.5%. If so then reduce the godamn price as well

There is a tax rate in the UK that kicks in at 5% on beer, when it came in about 7 years ago (can't remember when exactly) pretty much all the 'premium' lagers like Stella, Becks and so on all changed recipe to around 4.8%.
maybe drug dealers could do a sideline in selling imported USA 5% Bud,
Weird how most people in the comments seem more concerned by the minor change in ABV than the fact that it still tastes like Pißwasser

Slightly unfair to compare pre Xmas prices of drinks to the ones round the year coz they never really would match up, because companies always heavily reduce before Xmas, to bring in the footfall to bump up their xmas sales.

Stella, Becks and Bud are all brewed by AB InBev for the UK.

Changing alcohol volume also changes the taste, (and saves the brewers millions in tax)

I think it tastes better at 4.5% then it did at 5%

I left school some time ago, and no longer need to brag about drinking strong beers

Not an amazing deal by virtue of the 300ml bottles. 24 X 330ml at this price would be very good...

That extra mouthful makes all the difference
Great deal, heat added ... not so great beer though
hot because of twist cap.
