These really are falling out of the Sky, where's that 500gb for £70... :-D

Wait for 750GB HDD to become mainstream, then these will be sold for 50 quid or so Two years ago I bough Buffalo Drivestation 250GB for 80 quid and that was superb deal.

Wish I had bought more than four of these when they were £76

Everything about them is cool apart from the noise

Just received the device.
It uses Hitachi drive and it was identified as Hitachi HDT725050VLA360.

According to HGST datasheet, this drive got SATA2, 7200rpm, NCQ and 16MB buffer.
